whitenanook
I've been smoking shisha for a few months, and I've had very mixed results. Some of it really suprised me, and I'd like to hear other's opinions before I make my next order. I first tried a few Havana. Then, about a dozen Layalina flavors. Finally, about a dozen Starbuzz flavors. (all 50 oz packages) HAVANA: Melon was incredible. However, i could not get the Bananas+Honey to taste anything but burnt, no matter how many times I tried changing things. - liked :: melon - didn't like :: banana/honey LAYALINA: Seemed to be very light in flavor. However, I really, really liked the flavors. The Fig was absolutely incredible. - liked :: fig, lemon, mint, apple, peach - didn't like :: rose, vanilla - indifferent :: licorice STARBUZZ: I really, REALLY did NOT like Starbuzz. From everything I'd read and heard, I expected to be floored by it, but experienced quite the opposite. First, there's just something in the taste of every flavor that gives me a headache just to smell it. Any one know what's up with that? Is it the molasses or something common to them all? But second, I found the flavors did not taste right. Plum tasted like death -- literally. Raspberry was very, very strong, but not really raspberry. Pomegranate got me so buzzed that I ended up throwing up (and how does that happen with washed tobacco?). Neither Chocolate Strawberry nor Chocolate Mint tasted like the names, IMO. Again and again, the flavors were incredibly intense, but not as true and pleasant as Layalina. To be honest, I ended up tossing all but the melon and peach, the only two flavors that I could stand. - liked :: melon - indifferent :: white peach - didn't like :: blackberry, pomegranate, plum, raspberry, apricot, spearmint, chocolate mint, chocolate strawberry SO..... now I'm ready to reorder, and I'm not sure what to do. As for flavors, I really liked Layalina's Fig and Havana's Melon better than anything -- they were both like heaven. With a nice cup of Berenjager -- just damn. I've read good things about Al Fakher. However, I've read even better things about Starbuzz, and that didn't work out too well for me. Is there a brand that tastes like Layalina but has a little stronger taste? Or should I just stick to the two flavors/brands I know I like?
ASUSEAN1
layalina is always a safe bet.
