It didn't really taste like any other apple flavor I'd tried before. The best non-anise tasting apple I've tried is Havana Special Apple. Other ones I've liked are Al Amir single apple and Tangiers red apple. I've heard great things about Al Fakher Eskandari (sp?) apple, but have never tried it myself. It had a Deep apple taste, kind of running below the 2 other apples...hard to explain, even though I smoke soem this evening... Mouj Al Bahr tripple apple has a strong pineapple taste mixed with the apple to me, it was VERY good, but not what I expected. jtemes Posted December 1, 2006 Share Posted December 1, 2006 i wasnt a big fan of Al Amir triple apple at all. tasted like candy to me. personally i just got a batch of Al Waha Bahraini Apple and love it. Its a real nice sweet apple. it actually tastes like apple. i actually like it just as much if not more than Al Fakher Golden Eskandarai Apple. but AF esk. apple is still a good buy.
