haraldsmith
need some opinions; i want to know which is the midlest flavor from tangiers; i've smoked red tea, blue gumball, kashmir peach, cocao, orange soda and all are too strong for me. Bleeding_Heart1
mild as in flavor? or in tobacco strength? I cana tell you right now tangiers is not a mild tobacco at all. it is a beast of nicotean. Now flavors is a different story. Red tea, blackthorn, are some of the flavors ive had that were less flavorful, but why would you want less flavorful?
haraldsmith
i meant midlest in strength of course, i just mean which flavour.
skiracerj1
it doesnt exist! there are milder flavors of tangiers, compared to his other flavors, but they are all very strong when compared with anything else. perhaps tangiers just isnt the brand for you, try a washed brand with less nicotine
haraldsmith
i dont understand why he doesnt make washed tobacco, i mean his tobacco tastes good but its just too strong formost people, imagine how much more he could sell with a washed brand. mushrat
I have to agree with the blackthorn, good solid flavour, but milder.

I dont know about that, I think alot of his buisiness comes from the fact that hes one of the few companies that makes a high grade unwashed tobacco, most other premiuim companies are washed so that area of the market is cornered sortof. You should try fumari or starbuzz, there both amazingly flavorful brands with little buzz.
Yonatan
i'm imagining this family guy segment: scene 1: shows stewie packing a huge bowl of tangiers and then smoking it. *7 minutes later sign goes up* scene 2: shows stewie drooling all over the couch naked watching VH1 and laughing in a smoke filled room. scene 3: Lois walks into the living room (still filled with smoke) and stewie throws up all over her shoes, takes another huge hit, and falls asleep on the floor. edit: maybe stewie and brian together, because then in scene two they could be dancing naked to some shitty pop song. ZAP
I remember Tangiers once said that there would soon be a washed version. This was a while ago though so he may have ditched the idea.

cymptom
I think if Tangiers added a washed line of tobacco, he could potentially take over the world. It seems like there are so many good reasons to do this: 1) Tangiers is already (in my opinion) way ahead of most other brands in terms of flavor -- 90% of the people who don't like Tangiers, probably don't like because of the buzz factor. 2) As most of us know, Tangiers can sometimes be problematic to smoke -- it seems to me that the main problem is when too much nicotine is being vaporized too quickly. Washed tobacco = less chance of complications. 3) People don't always want a heavy smoke. I usually save Tangiers for after dinner or other such times, but if I could handle 24/7 zombification I'd probably smoke it all the time. 4) The flavorings are already perfected! Isn't that the hard part of the process? If adding a "light" line only means adding a washing stage to the process, why not? Do it do it do it!! imonlyapuppet
Yes. I mentioned all of these things in a couple random threads. Tangiers is by far my favorite tobacco in terms of the taste, cut, texture, variety of flavors, pricing, and the fact that Sonthet is a really helpful and decent guy. However, every time I pack a bowl of it for friends, everyone usually just gives up and I end up wasting some of it. Most of my friends smoke cigarettes on a regular basis, and even then, Tangiers is just too much. There are times when I just want to get a really heavy nicotine buzz (some might even call it a high) but most of the time I just want to relax and continue with my evening, not smoke half a bowl and fall asleep with a headache. I love Tangiers tobacco, and I think that instead of (or in addition to) that caffineated F-Line, he should make T-Light or something, a washed tobacco line. As Cymptom wrote, he's already got everything perfected. I don't know the specifics of creating shisha, but it doesn't seem like it would be that hard to take your pre-existing formula and just wash the tobacco. Do it Sonthert! Do it! Someone else mentioned that there are already plenty of washed tobacco's and the market is already a little crowded. So what? The world would be a boring place if people only entered markets that had no competitition. Fumari is damn good and a great washed tobacco, but it's too expensive nowadays.
