Double Tinfoil

Anybody know an advantage or disadvantage of using double tin-foil?

BUT...

I find that it does not get enough heat with double Foil.

Single layer of foil is all i've used and it's all i've ever needed.

i double foil depending on the foil itself. if its thinner foil then id double up. if i use heavy duty then i dont. works out perfect

Thats right, thin foil = doubled and heavy duty foil just the way it is.

i've tried doubling up
doesn't make it any better.
just keeps the heat out.

with baccos like tangiers which need less heat, i would try double foil.

also if your a newbie in the smoking field 2 layers will be easier because your taking in more oxygen, and it also burns less tobbaco.

it does make the bowl last a long time, but its doubtful ur gonna be smoking too many coals or else you would know alot more about hookah shit.


my friends do double, even tripple tin foil to make it easier.

i only use double for tangiers so it gets less heat, but nethign else ill just use 1 coal.

IMO Double wrapping is pretty useless....
1) it makes it MUCH harder to pull through
2) most of time doesnt get the shisha enough heat causing in small smoke clouds
3) takes longer to heat up

I use warp my bowl with single layer everytime. hope this helps.

Well...I don't know about harder to pull through, but...

Yeah, I tried it once, and even with tangiers, its just unessacary. If its heat your worried about, that I'd just go ahead and use less coal.

I use double foil all the time. The reason I do it is because I use whole quicklights at a time, which is usually too much heat. I cant break a coal into separate pieces and still have anything usefull to save my life. The double layer of foil works really well for correcting my problem of using way too much heat.
