OBXSurfer
First...let me start off by saying EVERYONE should have a wind cover...even if you dont smoke outside it helps so much with heat regulation and distribution. I used one three kings charcoal and had solid puffy white clouds for over an hour using my wind cover and a foil/hole combination I have been tinkering with the science and physics of fo ra while. Here was my setup (16 inch egyptian, 58in. traditional style hose, double foil, Al Amir Tripple Apple (put about 15g. in bowl, secret foil hole pattern, three kings coals, wind cover, and apple juice and ice cubes in the base) Very very very good! This tripple apple has a nice cherry taste to it that realy complements the apple and I would reccomend having it around becuase I smoked for almost two hours on 15g. and it seemed to only get better as the bowl "cooked" down. For about 9$ for 250g. it is a nice shisha esp. with apple juice in the base! -Nick

Smashraj84
A good vanilla shisha can be mixed with almost anything.
xpimpitox
once mixed i discovered outta boredom was starbuzz guava with fumari white peach using a regular egyptian bowl and Japanese style coals. the flavor was so awesome the best way to describe it would be a dominant peach with a guava undertone. cant go wrong with that! jtemes
so wuts ur secret foil hole pattern?
SanguineSolitude
secret hole pattern = bs. doesnt make a difference imo no matter how many or what size holes you use. ive tried it all. and as long as theres enough to get even heat through youre good. then again if youre using 2 pieces of foil maybe you need a secret pattern to get it to smoke right. i also disagree on the wind cover thing, to be honest unless im outside i find a wind cover is unneccessary and just gets in the way of me getting to the coals. plus it can heat up too quickly and burn the shisha. not cool. tripple apple sounds good though. my fav flavor combos are special apple + mint cherry + mint most things plus mint really. speel
Does it really help to use the wind cover when you use it indoors?
Macho555
I think it does...It helps the bowl heat up alot faster, but if you LEAVE it on, than it will just start torching the shisha. It works well when you start, or if you want to use a small amount of coal.
oriteku
My favorite combos are vanilla + cinnamon (smells like a freaking cinnabon) and raspberry + licorice
