Like since smoking on a empty stomach is hella bad too, we all could get some grub, then chillax and try out damnedest to hot box the hotel room. Can you imagine the look/reaction on a hotel/motel owners face when he sees us walking in with multiple hookahs? I also imagine that every room has a smoke/heat detector of some sorts (fire code and all), and need to protect themselves incase of fire. Not to mention the damage that can happen from coal burns in the hotel carpet. I'd feel pretty shitty for the person who uses their credit card to purchase the room..I think a lounge or persons house would be the best bet. The law only applies if its a public place (bar, restaurant, etc.) Since you have the option of smoking/non-smoking and its to be considered private, then yes you can smoke in the room.I'm not worried about smoke detectors either, I have smoke my hookha inside smoking rooms, and nothing really bad happened at all. Pretty sure my family wouldn't mind (yes I'm taking a break from school and back living with my family ha ha.. )Theres a few lounges in the vacinity, but I think the best would be Cobblestone, which is a few minutes from Sac State, which in turn is about 20 minutes from my house. We could always start at my house, head to cobblestone, then back to my house or whatever.I might even be able to get some good deals from Samir from Taqseem Hookahs if we do have a gathering. I'm sure he'd love to hear everyones opinions/views on his new brand of natural fingers he has out currently.But hopefully this will be a Plan B if we can't get something going in the Bay.
