mazultav
I just got a hose adapter and second hose for my QT from myasaray.com.But now that I think about it the adapter has threads on the bottom, how dose this go over the threads on the release valve? Should I have gotten the adapter from hookah-shisha.com instead? Thanks.

mazultav
But the release valve has female threads with the male threads attached to the stem. from the photos it looks as thought the adapter also has male threads???
SanguineSolitude
the valve stem unscrews too. grab a piece of cloth and a pair of pliers. wrap the cloth around the little valve stem to protect the chrome and unscrew with the pliers. be gentle but firm and it should come right out. you have the valve head off and the ball bearing out. bu the third part of the valve, the stem is still there and needs to be unscrewed. Scheetz
and thats why this forum exists. Just use a towel everytime, otherwise you can A: crush the stem or B: scratch it to hell.
mazultav
actually with a dish towel i could screw it in and out with my fingers so no pliers needed.
