Anyone Have Mya Wides That Don't Fall Out?

The topic title explains it... I have mya wides coming and now I find out nobody can fit them in their hookah! Or, they fall out every time you bump it / pass it

Any kind of fix for this?

You mean they are not wide enough for the hole? Try wrapping some foil to the end of the hose perhaps?

what model of hookah are you using (makes a difference).

Try dumping the hose grommet and jammin it in good. That works on a couple of Syrians I have.

I have a Mya "Frost" hookah. Not sure what type it is or anything like that, but its the standard stainless chrome hose grommet.

Try different grommets and if that doesn't work, a wet paper towel. It may not be the most graceful way to do it, but it should work.

They have some other gromets that work WAY better than the Mya standard ones. I dont know where to get them but they are black and a lot thicker than the Myas. They work great with the Wides

Take out the grommet (if you're using a Mya pipe) and stretch it over the end of the wide hose, then twist it in. If you have another kind of hookah though, not sure, but that's what I do

For my QT, the mya clear plastic grommet works fine. Put it on the hose (like a hose condom, which is my nickname for it), and shove it in.
For my Nour, i put the big thick black grommet in, and then shove the hose in.

we use the wides in the lounge, and the tiny mya grommets are the suck. Try using a bowl grommet that is not mya, preferably a thin and stiff one. at least that works for us.
