Rotating Hookahs And Some Other Questions

Recommended Posts

After smoking some random, over-priced hookahs that can be found here in the Boston area, I've finally decided to do some research and purchase a good hookah myself.

In looking on-line, I was immediated intrigued by the rotating hookahs. I was hoping someone could tell me a little more about them. One thing I noticed is that the chamber looked small, I was wondering how that affects them.

Another that recently caught my eye was the large Oasis hookah with ice chamber from social smoke. Is the ice chamber really necessary?

I guess in the end I'm looking for something that has a nice, distinct look to it, and both of these types fit the bill.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Rotators are great hookahs. They hit just like all the others, just the bowl pivots about so the hose wont be tangled. Dont let the vase scare you away. They are a great choice.

The ice chamber helps cool the smoke a bit more than it would be. I have no personal experience with it, but everyone who has bought or used one loved them.

Hope you have better luck at social than me...

Dont listen to apathy, he obviously made the wrong order and is now pissed. His bowl is broken, hes bitching about that, when he should be calling social to see if they can replace it. Or he needs to contact the shipping company, IE Fedex and tell them to replace it.

I and everyone else on this forum would appreciate it if you would not bash a company for your obvious screw up as I pointed out in your thread. Go fix the issue, its not life threatening, its a 3 dollar bowl.

I have purchased many times from social, and nothing has ever been broken or had a screw up. I highly recommend them. Good luck with your order.

SS has been fine for my orders.

The ice chamber isn't necessary... some people swear by it, some people put it off. I'm personally fine with whatever i get out of my tap.

And while rotators are nifty, I've heard that they classically had problems down the road with leaking and at the pivot point

How do they leak at the pivot point. Its at the bottom of the hookah. Which is below the vase itself.
