Mr Nice Guy
Just wondering if anyone has tried Romman brand tobbaco from Hookah-Shisha.com? They claim this is the highest grade tobbaco but Im sure everyone makes the same claim. Please let me know if you have tried this.
ZAP
Check outs King Mo's thread about premium tobacco reviews. He has reviewed some their. I have never tried their tobacco myself but I have read here in numerous posts that their stuff is not worth the high price. A lot of people seem to like their peach and watermelon I think. mikem
Romman is very good tobacco in my opinion. I love it. Zap they do not make watermelon flavor, although their sweet melon is incredible. It is pricy but i think the quality is worth it. Just my 2 cents
cypress
This is just my opinion. I tied Roman from hookah-shisha and i was not impressed with it for the price. I tried the coconut, apple, peach, cherry, pineapple, sweet melon, bananna. But, like always, different people have different tastes. Get a sampler pack and try them. If you are just a begginer you will spend quite a bit of money finding the flavors and brands you will love.
Mathazar
My favorite flavors from Romman are: Double Apple (Best I've EVER tasted) Orange Strawberry and Sweet Melon Some people in this forum really like the Peach, but I don't. I would avoid all the other flavors if I were you. Or you could do what cypress suggested and order some sample packs of each flavor, and then you'll know for sure what you're spending your hard-earned money on. hookaman
hey mathazar does romman double apple have that licorice flavor in it, if it does what apple or double apple can u recomend which doesnt have any of that licorice taste in it.
Mathazar
All Double Apple from every company has that strong licorice flavor. It took me a longtime to acquire a taste for Double Apple to the point where I could REALLY appreciate a fine tasting tobacco like Romman. The only company that sells Apple that I've smoked that even comes close to resembling a REAL Green Apple is www.Hookah-Hookah.com. But, if you go read my latest update in my "Hookah-Hookah Flavor Reviews" thread you'll see that Hookah-Hookah does not always deliver quality and sometimes the Apple I order is good and sometimes it's bad. The problem, in my opinion, with Hookah-Hookah Apple is that they pack their tobacco fresh, and rather than packing the tobacco in heat sealed bags, they pack them in Ziplock bags inside of a screw-top jar. You would think that it would stay fresh, but on recent orders of the Apple, I haven't been able to taste a whole lot of Apple flavor. You can order it if you want, but I can't guarantee that you're going to receive the BEST quality stuff. Their Margarita, Pineapple, and Melon, on the other hand, are simply ASTOUNDING!!!! King Mo
best apple according to my opinion has to be regular apple fakher. It's feels like luxury, with a nice sweet taste, but not overly sweet. Rich smoke, nice flavour, no offputting liquorice that stands out. I reviewed it in my thread in the sig. Also The Romman single apple was an easy flavour to smoke. Not spectacular, but nice to have for a change. again this is reviewed in my thread. I have come to the conclusion, that romman tobacco is the same standard as fumari, except that romman tobacco ranges from average to very good, and fumari ranges from garbage to supreme Their cherry is nice in its own way, peach is ok (I'm not a peach fan), apple decent, melon very good, banana ok. romman is very overpriced though. I ordered 2 boxes, and realised I coulda had 4 fakher boxes for the same amount. Which is absolutely insane!!! There is no question in my mind that Fakher is the top quality tobacco, it is a different experience, and the smoke generated is more luxorious than any other brand. (pure dense white smoke). The only flavour I tried of al amir is Cherry, and that was close to fakher in luxury, and seems to be of a higher quality in general than both romman and fumari. However, I would be cautious about flavours other than cherry (cos I simply haven't tried them yet)
Mathazar
Just go order a jar of Hookah-Hookah Apple, it's $10 for 250grams. The jar I'm smoking right now is simply AMAZING, as I opened a fresh jar of it this morning. The smell is SO luxurious, it will sendyou into Apple Heaven........GUARANTEED! Hookah-Hookah Apple is the closest I've come to tasting REAL Apple. I've had some jars that were SO f**king good, I almost wet myself Seriously dude, what have you got to lose. I can guarantee that if you get a fresh jar you're gonna L.O.V.E. it!!!

Mathazar
Is the raspberry and cherry any good? Do they resemble the real thing?
mikem
Mathatzar, the raspberry and cherry are pretty darn good. I wouldnt say the raspberry tastes real, but it does taste like raspberry, it is almost like a candy type raspberry flavor, not too sweet though. The cherry is pretty realistic. I cant wait to mix it with the fakher cola ive got coming on saturday.

cypress
The good things in life that we enjoy are expensive. I am a wine drinker too. I go through several bottles a week. I try to keep at least 50 bottles stock. My average bottle is about 15 bucks. Hookahman, good luck getting a job. Get ready to spend that paycheck. Gamaliel
I've had the Romman coconut, double apple, and sweet melon<really a great flavour>and apple. My take is that most of their flavours are just a cut below AF,it's the price that turns me off. mikem
The rest of my AF order from southsmoke should be here this week. As of now Ive only got cola. I hope I like it as much as everybody else does!
King Mo
one major difference between romman and fakher, is fakher produces the best riches smoke on the market. Also, it is smoother, romman is tougher on the throat and lungs. You have to smoke through a bit of crap to get it going good. Fakher is supersmooth. then there is the price
Mathazar
I'm glad to see that it's not just me. Romman is DEFINITELY rough on the throat and lungs, not nearly as smooth as Fakher or Hookah-Hookah
mikem
To me Romman is not harsh at all, hmm... different strokes for different folks!
