My old man has a concession stand business and most of the profit comes from sodas. Plus, sodas taste so much better, people like free refills... bottled drinks expire before you can use them, are too expensive, and don't get people to buy more than one usually. Between the tanks, the syrup bags etc...the place is pretty tight already...I'm going to meet with the coke or pepsi folks and see what it will take. ghostofdavid Posted December 23, 2006 Share Posted December 23, 2006 One other thing, too, Mush... tell the Coke guys you are asking for prices for Pepsi and vice versa... they will try to compete to get the better deals out of you by providing heavily discounted services, throwing in a couple hundred free glasses to serve sodas in, or some other offer...My old man was in the concession stand business and would do this every couple of years or so. And with sugar in it, i think that teas are a very easy drink to serve and you can get a plethora of different teas without taking up too much room in your bar. They also serve Lemonade (fresh made), Banana Smoothies, Strawberry Smoothies, Mango Smoothies and you can also ask to mix any of the flavors together. Straw Banana is awesome. Energy drinks are a good idea.Other tea flavors ( I would offer a glass of tea or a pot of tea to customers) Fruit juicesCoffees you have coveredSobe? always a possibilityCoke products, ----pepsi sucks nobody drinks it anymore.Maybe a few nice bottles of wine? (i crossed the non alch line but whatev)Your favorite beers, plus a Sam Adams, Yeungling, and have atleast 2 beers that come and go with the seasons. So summer has the normal 5 and 2 summer ales listed, and fall has a different 2.Also look into the alum. bottles from Bud. They are great because they cannot be broken, you can crush them up to save space in the trash. I know you want to run an upper class lounge, so the alum. cans may seem a bit low. But they are a great and cheaper way of serving beer in a bottle to people.Umm Pomegranate juice is iffy. Last time I checked you are only supposed to drink like a shots worth of it a day.
