RockyBalboa
Hey whats goin on guys. I got my tangiers in along with my funnel bowl. Read some of the tips about how to get this tabacco smoking. Got a pretty good smoke going, taste was very good, but no buzz whatsoever. Any ideas? I mean i did everyhting right, had a pretty thick smoke going too. Maybe this flavor has no buzz?
JoeLipinski
I looked at a few reviews of Tangiers orange soda and it seems that most people are getting a nice buzz from this tobacco. Try stirring it up more. Also did you let it acclimate?
RockyBalboa
Hmmm, stirred it up tonight, still no dice. Maybe i'll throw more coal on there and alot more holes in the foil. =/
ASUSEAN1
orange soda was one of the more milder tangiers flavors if you are talking about getting a buzz. it is still one of my favorite flavs tho
Zerodynamic
I hear with tangiers acclimation is key, and can make the smoke difference night and day. try acclimating for 3-4 hours, hell a day if you want.

Sonthert
Put six-eight ice cubes in the vase water and try again...it'll allow more nicotine to pass through. Also, nicotine has a lower boiling point so it is boiled away early in the smoking. If you put coals on, take a puff, wait 20 minutes, alot of nicotine is going to be gone. HAHkoo
maybe you just have a higher nicotine tolerance?
mgs0lid
what is acclimation ???
art_official
acclimation essentially is allowing your tobacco to "acclimate" or basically get used to the surroundings. I know it may sound weird but it really is essential and could make or break a good smoke. Tobacco is very sensitive to humidity and temperature. i keep my tobacco where i smoke so that i never have to wait, and it is always readyrocky- definetly try letting your shisha sit out for a while before smoking it. also i noticed that tangiers requires abit more heat that other brands of tobaccos. good luck! RockyBalboa
Thanks a lot guys for all the tips. Acclimation was the key here, no doubt. I think i def got the hang of it down, got a nice buzz off the last time. Heres my question though....i have a jar where i keep my tangiers in.....do you suggest when i acclimate it i open the jar??Thanks a lot
Sonthert
Leave the lid cracked open so air could come in, but foreign material/insects won't
