Scarecrow
I bought my second bag of Nour charcoal and am finding it burns differently then I remember. Anybody else get a sort of BBQ smell as these suckers are cooking on the stove? They also seem to get a thicker crustier ash then I remember. Maybe I am just mixing up my natural with how 3 kings burns.
Sonthert
Nobody posted on your thread...I feel bad. I use Japanese coals. Wood composition will vary I would imagine, so newer charcoal may be different than the older ones. They may have changed manufacturers or processes, too. If I could bet $1 with somebody on each individual hookah product being consistent over the course of 2 years and I took "Will change, not be consistent." I would be a millionaire. If you see what I'm saying. Its the nature of the beast.
Scheetz
Like Sonth said. I think it just varies from batch to batch. Just like the people who had exploding 3 kings for some reason. As long as they still give proper heat I wouldn't complain.
HAHkoo
natural or wood coals sometimes kinda give off a bbq smell, but i guess just as long as you don't taste the smell its all good
