And i just used it tonight but could not get it to smoke. It would smoke a little but only with great strenght from the lungs, but not much smoke? Also the vase doesnt screw completly into the shaft there are still more ridges on the vase for it to go down, but it wont. I would first check for air tightness. this means the bowl to the stem, the hoses in the hole, and the stem to the base.After that, its probably heat or your hole punching pattern. you need pleanty of holes to draw air in, not just smoke... other then that.. did you pack the bowl properly? was it hot enough? Make sure that at each connection there is a "tight" fit at each grommet. Place your hand around the area and suck in on the hose, if you feel air, you need a tighter fit.
