London786 Posted December 30, 2006 Share Posted December 30, 2006 I just wondered if there are tips from you experts on how to pack a bowl to gain the best smoking experience.I am relatively a new smoker and would just like to enhance the quality of my smoke- I have started to use natural coals and this has helped but I am sure my packing technique has flws present within it. The Cameron Posted December 30, 2006 Share Posted December 30, 2006 its not really how you pack the bowl so much as heat management. but as for packing the bowl, what i do is as im pulling the tobacco out of the container, i open it up a little bit with my fingers, so its not all compacted, and i pack it fairly loosely , leaving enough room on top that it wont touch the foil. All shishas are cut differently, and thus get packed in a different way...for the most part, i suppose the most generic answer is "sprinkle loosely in the bowl until full" People even differ on wether the shisha should be touching the foil or not.
