Acrylic Hookah

So I've been in the market for a small, portable hookah with a hard case for awhile. I was browsing hookah-shisha and came across a small one (the "junior") that came with a case, and the option for an acrylic base. Now, I know traditional hookahs always have glass bases, and while I'd like to stick with that....I have a feeling acryllic has more pros overall. It can't break, it has threads to connect the stem/vase (rather than grommets like glass ones, etc. Unless you guys tell me it totally messes up the flavor/taste, I think I might just go with that. Any ideas?

(Also, I've already ordered a small phunnel and some tangiers bubblegum/orange soda....been lurking for awhile here, and read that it is a worthy investment)

i'd say go for it! thats what my friend uses at his hookah bars and they work great.

This is just hearsay but i heard that acrylic can change the taste of the hookah. I don't know if it's true or not. I was kinda wondering to be honest.

no. any hookah is going to have a different taste if its not clean but the acrylic is jus as good new as any other hookah
