Mya Wide Hose Or My Normal

Hey. Now i actually dont know the difference between the two! Is the metal tip one Mya normal and the wooden tip big ass hole one the mya wide??? Dont even know really. Which kind do you prefer and why! iv got the wooden tipped mya hose, but not sure if its a wide, came with my mya qt. Any input? Cheers.

The one that comes standard with all Myas is a regular Mya hose..you would be able to tell the mya wide..it's thick thick thick

I brought this up last time there was a MYA wide discussion, but ill type it again because i think its a valid point and i really didn't get a big response.

Here is what i think....The MYA wide is just a psychological thing and here is why. If you look at the two hoses next to each other you can clearly tell that the wide hose is in fact larger, but the part that counts is the same size. Look at the metal mouth tip on both, pretty much the same size. Now what this means is that your inhale is restricted to that say 1/8" diameter hole. So if you have a normal hose with this tip and a hose that is 1' wide you will still only be able to draw out as much smoke as you can from the 1/8" mouth tip.

you sir are correct. all piping is limited in material passage by its lowest diameter point. the only benefit a wider hose with a normal tip would have is slightly increasing the chamber volume (since smoke does reside in the hose normally) which also increases the chance the smoke might go stale in the chamber.
