Zerodynamic
how did it come off? did it tear or the zipper thingy that zips break off, and now its only on one side?
ghostofdavid
Can you sew it back on? If not, stop by a thrift store and pick up a sweet vintage suitecase for a few bucks and some foam from a craft store and make yourself a hard shell case for less than 10 bucks, including gas. Then, take pictures of it and share it with the forum!

hookah hippie
The zipper ripped off of both ends. The problem with the suitcase idea is my hookah is big, very big and the convenience of the bag was it was light but I guess i need something sturdier. (hope thats the right spelling doubt it)
Allia22
go to a shoe repair place. Chances are they repair zippers (my boots... urgh. I have about 6 pairs of big ass intimidation/dommie boots, and the zippers break all the time XP)
hookah hippie
do you need the piece of the zipper in order for them to fix it or can they give you a replacement
Allia22
They replaced the zipper completely for me... Well, my plastic zipper got a kink in it somehow, so they had to replace it. If your zipper is in perfect shape, is it possible you could just sew it back on yourself?
hookah hippie
Thanks for the help Allia I droped off my bag at a shoe repair shop and will recieve it on Monday. I did go to one shop that asked $70 for repairing the bag. (I think they did that because they recognized a friend who was with me who got into an arguement with the owners) The second shop where I left the bag charged my $25 damn I am glad I posted this instead of chucked the bag. I will take pictures and post the results for you guys to see. if its a hit i might be on to a niche market here...

EvansLight
ive got an idea for mine, getting a rifle case and gutting it out, and redoing the foam XD think that might actually work to fit my nice tall hookahs in.
Sonthert
If you lived near Mexico, like us in CA, you could have gotten it done for $10. I used a free sports bag for years to carry my hookahs around in...try one of those...lots of pockets, shoulder strap, etc!

Doubon
repairing a zipper shouldn't be too expensive or difficult. take it to a luggage repair shop or a luggage store, they'll repair it.
