rattler
I bet that Meduse hose costs more than most people's hookahs I'm just guessing but I would think you could buy enough 10 dollar mya hoses to last you at least as long as that hose will last. That hose is still lined with rubber if I understand the description correctly so it will fail at some point right. Damn it is a pretty hose though...So are their hookahs. kram
the humidity over here rots my mya hoses and i haven'tbeen able to find plastic hoses or shower hoses without smell. so i really dunno wat else to get to tell u the truth.
rattler
That sucks Kram...I forget where you are at Asia somewhere right? How much would it cost to have someone send you a chunk of food grade hose? That stuff is dirt cheap here in the US and only has a slight plastic smell. It is food grade so it won't hurt you or anything. I looked at the pieces on the website and I think they are going to tell you that they will not fit at least they don't look like they will unless they sell some sort of adapter they don't have on the website yet. I really like their Mirage hookah...I doubt I would ever pay what they are asking for such a thing though. I would love to know just how expensive this stuff is. rattler
Damn I just found a price for The Brute on another website...$1160 us dollars plus shipping. That's even more than I though it would cost!
mushrat
Kram: have you considered braided metal brake (and other fluids) line for cars? I'm betting you could get a length of braided hose, attach the wooden ends off an old Mya hose and your rust problems should be over....This sound like it might work to anyone else? DyinTuLive
anything stainless steel would work as long as you can get it to fit properly, i work at a sheet metal shop, get me a hose with a stainless tip and as long as it's to big and not to small then we can make it fit for ya! lol
Twang
I asked them several months ago about the hose. I believe they told me it was $60-70 us dollars.

rattler
Mush the brake hose idea sounds like a really good idea. Perhaps someone should start making them and selling them.

Sonthert
If the other results from aluminum pipes are any indication, those hoses may still develop problems.
