Curious About El Basha

Recommended Posts

I know el basha is another line of nakhla. It says it's "ultra light" and 0.05% nicotine but the consistency of the shisha as well as the way it smokes leads me to believe it's still unwashed, and that it's not really ultra light since it still can give a decent buzz as opposed to most washed 0.05's out there. Anyone know anything about this?

I got a 50g a month ago with a hookah bought from smoking-hookah. I recently ordered a 250g jar from hookah-shisha, and while it's not nearly as dank (way less flavor, way drier, smokes drier. probably old shisha near the end of life), it still smokes decently with al greco coals.

Just wondering

el basha isn't washed tobacco.

i think it is right, but the differences between el basha and nakhala are not that significant. El basha doesent give as much buzz and the flavor is lacking so just stick with traditional nakhala. If your a health nut try something thats thoroughly washed, like say al fakher which is a pretty damn clean tobacco. Anyone know other clean tobaccos? i think thats the cleanest one i can think of- that and havana. unprocessed, ungrated, unfucked around with basically except for a thorough water rinsing.

Thanks for the responses. I had a good feeling basha isn't washed (smoked a lot of different shisha to be able to tell the difference). I just imagined it to be washed or something to that effect since they're ultra light and listed with 0.05 (definitely more than that).

I'm no health nut anymore, and personally, love the al waha shishas. They almost would seem to have a washed consistency, when compared to the likes of nakhla or afzal, but definitely give a good buzz, and smoke perfectly.

As for basha having lacking flavor, I think that could still be with the age/quality of the shisha. Nakhla I've found to be incredibly inconsistent, whether it's because most of the shisha from the distributors is real old, or just general quality control. But I did have an el basha grape that was astounding. Too bad this big tub isn't coming close

i think its because the shop keepers neglect the shelf life. I have never tried afzal though ! i have heard its texture is scary so i dont even wanna try it.

Al Amir is probably the lightest shisha there is. I find it gives less buzz then even Havana. It smokes better too with thicker smoke.

What does Al Amir and Havana have to do with El Basha?? Hijack! wink.gif blink.gif wink.gif

El Basha was the first lighter nicotine brand on the market. In fact, it is a blend of washed and unwashed tobacco. It does give a buzz, since I guess that most brands that claim to have .05 are probably nearly zero, much less than .05. So technically, it isn't a true washed tobacco, but made in a deliberate fashion to control the nicotine amount.
