art_official
so i went to my local shop today and asked if there was anything new or interesting as i always do.wow was i surprised, perhaps its just new to me, but i was told by the owner of the store about starbuzzes' new company, FUSIONbasically same style as sb tobacco however there is a huge difference in flavorflavors including, cactus pear, rasberry mango...etc.another great tobaco from the makers of sb!pics of the milk and box soon
amir22
i'm pretty sure they are two entirely different companies, but it's great stuff nonetheless. just got done smoking some double apple, i actually like it better than starbuzz
art_official
i was told that its the same maker and supplier of tobacco, however he makes different flavors that starbuzz doesnt make in order to not cut out his other flavors.not sure about that but its a pretty good source...the owner of the store
amir22
yeah, they're both jordanian i think and i know fusion bought out some factory there so it may have once belonged to starbuzz but i'm extremely confident fusion is a new company unrelated to starbuzz, since i notice a difference in the quality in fusions favor
tingjunkie
Exciting! Better flavor than StarBuzz, or just different flavors? I will be trying StarBuzz for the first time as soon as my order arrives- Irish Cream, and Peach.I used to only order Fumari, but they pissed me off and I am boycotting. What is the price range on this Fusion stuff?Interesting to hear that is comes from Jordan. That's where Fumari's tobacco comes from. Is Jordanian shisha always premium stuff? art_official
eh id say sb packs a lil bit more of a punch taste wise, but not enough to deterr you away from the delicious and unique flavors.i had a bowl of cactus pear today that blew me away.the packaging is also much better than starbuzzinstead of a tin can that gets all greasy and sticky they give you practically a glad tupperware with a pretty good top.i really like them.from what i know most boxes are 20 bucks for 250g same as sbEDIT* wow that store says 15 thats pretty good, but after tax and shippin itll probably be around the same, like i said my store sells it at 20 Edited January 14, 2007 by art_official
[LB]
thats cheaper than starbuzz! I have never tried starbuzz and i dont think i ever will cause its too expensive. This fusion i might be able to try though
Jones
Not to burst anyone's bubble, but Fusion isn't exactly new, it came out quite some time ago. I've yet to try it though and it's on my list of purchases.

Social Smoke
I know nothing about the quality and taste of the product, but this is not the first time that I have heard Fusion is being marketed as Starbuzz related. From the numerous times I have heard this, I think that the source of the misinformation is not the store, but whoever is selling it to them. Its unfortunate that a company would try to use the Starbuzz name and reputation to sell a product that has absolutely nothing to do with it. Sonthert
Yeah, conecting Fusion to Starbuzz seems unethical. Fusion is made in Saudi Arabia (?) and Starbuzz in the USA. Starbuzz has always been made in the USA. Thats the short story, make a good product, have people try to rip it off. Not even the company, but the retailer. As they say, scratch a liar, find a thief. Scalliwag
Depending on the source of the story on if it is unethical. Some rumors get started from pure assumptions and one person may say it tastes like SB, then the person they tell it to remembers that as, I think it is the same people, and so on.I don't know enough facts to put blame anywhere. If it is a good product it should succeed on it's own merits. Saying something tastes as good as SB would not be unethical as long as that was not BS.... but even that is subjective. To summarize, *this* SB story is BS and the conFusion was started by some SoB BS'er. smiley
Actually my little brother brought that brand in to the country. The Hookah Company. Its made in Saudi. Starbuzz does not have anything to do with that company. In fact they talked alot of crap to my little brother and threatened him and his company. About distributing that brand. So did Lalaylina. In fact Lalaylina just bought the company( Starbuzz ).Smiley

art_official
i bought four boxes of this stuff with flavors including cactus pear, mango guava, rasberry guava, and chocolate dipped strawberry and to make it easier for people to get ahold of (or try) ill most liklley be dedicating a lot of it to trades.i was told by the owner of the store of where i bought this that it is connected to SB, however now it seems that may be wrong? like scalli said this is a "pure assumptio". on a second note this sheesh remarkably resembles starbuzz, same cut, same look, same juice, and im pretty sure same packaging bag. It also smokes simularily, however this may be a placebo effect. none the less this is an awesome product and def. is going to be included in my shift of smokes btw to clear all questions the sheesh has .03% nicotine.EDIT* i realize its not new, its just new to me.
