Absolutely kosher. I wouldn't make my tobacco any other way.

Actually it's kinda funny because on a website, dailyhalacha.com (which answers a question with Jewish law everyday), the question of whether hookah tobacco had to have a hescher (certification of being kosher) on it was raised. The answer according to them was that it did not require a hescher because it is not being digested. Even if the hookah tobacco had glycerin made from pig, it would still be considered kosher. This is from a reliable orthodox source so I think it would fit all opinions for Jews (except chabad because they think everything should have a hescher, IMO). Though this raises the question of whether smoking is acceptable, but that is for a different debate (if you would like to discuss it with me, PM me). Edited by JoeLipinski

Joe...I'm Reform wink.gif so I'm not strict kosher, for example my dishes receive no special treatment . To me it is meaningful to know that there is nothing unclean in the tobacco however.

I am studying for an orthodox conversion and I know that the reform and orthodox fight, but I try to avoid that... it's not good. I understand your concern I just was stating the opinion of the Talmud wink.gif . Figured I would put it out there. Hope you don't feel offended at all, that is the last thing I was trying to do.

No offense taken my friend. I just wanted to let you know that I was not orthodox tongue.gif I know there is arguements between the 2, but I don't really concern myself with that.

Chabad holds a event called Hookah in the Sukkot...You should check it out. Great social event and a great chance to smoke with friends(or make new ones).

Now I better stop hijacking the thread! (wait a minute it was my thread anyways! LOL)

I think I'll hold off on this strange flavor until some reviews roll in. I like the new website, its much easier to manage than the old one. Go back and check your FAQ section though, it seems a few of the question topics got cut off in the formatting so you cant read the whole question. You can still make out what it means, but if your going for that "legit professional" look, this doesnt help you.

Also, seeing that your lounge is in San Diego bums me out. I was just there over thanksgiving break and I diddnt know about it. I would have stopped in.

Dude I dont know about you guys....but a mear flavored shisha? To me that just sounds disgusting haha.

Everything else on their list sounds yum!

I agree, just like how you said SOEX tastes like smoking wood, as nasty as that sounds to me, meat flavored shisha sounds just as disgusting. Glad this is not going to be meat or meat related flavored tobacco. I wonder why this is going to cost more for this flavor. Well if all goes like Eric said, we should know tomorrow - "Well, if you guys want to buy it...Friday?" - Sonthert.

mmmm put ranch dressing in the base. smile.gif

omg you are brilliant. this could be revolutionary! people wouldnt need to eat anymore theyd just smoke meals on the hookah, desert is pretty much covered with all those friggin fruits and candy flavors and what not. If we can get some meats, then we can start moving into pancake/ waffle flavors - lucky charms flavors the possibilties are endless. We will never have to eat again until they force a feeding tube down our throats like those poor anorexic girls.
