camelflage Posted January 18, 2007 Share Posted January 18, 2007 so im packing up for a ski trip with some folks, and of course im brinking the hookahtainment. packed up a couple multi-hose hookahs and was getting ready to pack the shisha up, and i now have 31 flavors across 6 brands.am i strange or do other people stock shisha like this?? Think six cases of assorted flavors is enough? Not me. On top of that there's about 2 kilos of assorted Naklah, and Six tubs of AA from a sale at SS I just couldn't resist. Of course when Eric was in town I couldn't help myself. Had to replenish my Melon Mix and Lemon Blossom and try out the Lime I received a free sample of his Kashmir Apple, wow, it's great. and Licorice. Total Tangiers about two kilos in stock. Then there's the ancient tub of Zag, 300g or so. Still smokes great. The silly cans of HH that I'll never smoke. I know this is a sickness. Somebody stop me! READ - I had lots of money to do nothing with.Cue new boyfriend, who is in the same kind of situation, and add a little bit of the interwebs inticing hookah web sites.Add the middle eastern grocery store near me that sells 35 flavors of 3 brands of shish.And the head shop that sells 4 brands with the entire catalog just around the corner.And the 3 hookah bars in driving distiance. You coulds say I was tempted.Hundreds of dollars, and 1/2 of a semi-walk in pantry filled foor to ceiling later, I had to invent a filing system for my tobacco.I labled it all, with dates, brands, sizes bought, price, where from, and flavor.Then I sorted it by favorites - A Team, B Team, C Team, Rejects, and SPECIAL teams when I needed that extra point after a touchdown.We smoked it all. Every night for 1.5 years, with a variety of friends. I was a KING(queen) AMMONGST MEN!Then I broke up with that turd, left him with the hookahs that were trashed from so many people trying desperatley to load a bowl like I coulds, and started school.Now I have low money, and only 1 side of my kitchen's cupboards filled with coals, accessories, and SHISHA! I have to be careful not to spend rent on Tobacco.They say admitting you have a problem is the first step on the road to recovery, so let me be the first to say I DONT HAVE A PROBLEM, I CAN QUIT ANYTIME! My problem is I finally got to bring hookahs and shisha in at work, and so now Im tempted at buying everything off of my distributors list. I just tack it on with my battle for hoarding pipe tobacco. I prolly buy a 250g tub or two or three a week. Well that builds up quickly apparently even when you smoke all day at work........hrmm perhaps we all need Hookaholics Anonymous.
