Mark
Well last saturday(i think) i went to orchard supply to buy 5ft. of plastic tubing. I connected the ends of my sleek hose to it went on with some hotwater. I used the hose about 2 times and my problem is the tubing is pretty stiff. Will it soften after i use it for a while? Or is there any ways to get it pretty soft? I almost tipped the hookah like 3 times because of the stiff tubing. HELP MEE!
DizzyGuy
The tubing that I bought from lowes has stayed just a stiff... but I got 10 ft so there's not much of a problem with tipping over because of the slack

DyinTuLive
whats the big craze with the idea of this cheaper tubing...does it make for better sessions?
HookahETC
Tubing like that (if im thinking of the right kind you're talking about) tends to stay stiff. If yuo want to...just use and abuse it to get it to move around more. What i mean by this is...just unattach it from the hookah and bend it and fold it and heat it and just beat it up. Your goal is to try to break the chemical compound that is keeping it stiff...just takes some wear and tear
hookahmike
Stiffer is as stiffer does...Go search for my other stuff on Premium tubing (not necessarily cheaper, but more fun )QUOTE (HookahETC @ Jan 18 2007, 10:09 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Tubing like that (if im thinking of the right kind you're talking about) tends to stay stiff. Scheetz
yep its always going to be stiff. I use that tubing for my watercooling on my computer. Even after months of use it will hold its bend.
shishboarder
maybe try some vinyl tubing like dynamic said or the tubing that is used for hose shower heads and sink sprayers? i'd imagine that'd be just right
HookahETC
What ever tubing you use...just watch out for the creases. Once they get creased...they tend to always go back to that and you'll find it difficult to smoke out a hose like that

Allia22
Unless you heat it up carefully. Hooray plastics and composites class Plastics have memory to them, and unless it's very badly creased, it should go back to its original shape... or any other shape you want.In theory
