Puting Plastic Tubing On Mya Hose ?

I want to put plastic tubing on my mya hose becuase it is hella hard to clean and I think plastic would be good so i could see through all of it. So do i just rip the mya hose outta the handles or is their a special way ?

Unsure. I think whoever did it used some hot glue to reattach it. It's somewhere on the forums. I'd look but search hates me

WHY?

A mya hose is washable. You should not have to even wash the damn thing. What are you doing to it that makes it hard to clean?? I smoke all the time and have washed my hose 2 times in the past 3 months. The first time being when it showed up at my house.

I found that why my hoses (which I replaced the leather with plastic) bring out more of the flavor. I also find them a LOT easier to clean because the crap doesn't adhere to the plastic as easy as leather. I mod'ed my Social Smoke hose (the more expensive version) with 3/8 inside diameter hosing. I found this to work very well, and I did not have to glue it, I just heated the hose with hot water and plopped the hose inside of the tips. If you are really serious about this, I would take the leather part off and then take the tips to a hardware store and size up the hose. ONLY do this if you know that you are going to be replacing the leather hose with plastic because if you don't go through with it, then you will just have 2 tips.

It actually doesn't look too cool, because you can't really see a whole lot of smoke in it, I mean the hose the hoses go from 100% transparent to about 70% transparent. Still works out nice though.

I removed the ends from a Mya regular hose (I tinker a lot) and stuck the ends into about 8' of the above:

1. Very flexible.
2. Just push it on, stays VERY well.
3. food grade
4. Lighting is ALL important, I can't see through mine because of the smoke
