Hookah Size Too Big Or Small?

Recommended Posts

i am looking to purchase a new rotator hookah and i was wondering if there really is a noticeable difference in the size of the hookah, i have been looking at the Comet Hookah from Hookah-shisha, and the Lunar hookah.

id advise you away from those modern hookahs, especially a rotator. is this your first pipe?

EDIT* they both look ok just, rotators open you up to a whole new potential of problems, yet some people like them. size doesnt really make a difference once your in the range of 22-32 inches... i personally have 2 12-15 inch hookahs and they both smoke like achamp. i also have a 36 inch egyptian which will fill a room. as long as the base is big enough to support a milked smoke, then amount of smoke will all depend on the sheesh/coals situation/and set up Edited by art_official

I have gotten many Rotators infact we use to use them in the lounge, But they all had to be Moded in order to smoke right. Alot of them leak air or water. Sometimes both. If you decide to get one. You may have to Mod it for it to work just right for you. I would go with a smaller version of a rotator. For some odd reason I have had zero problems with the small Eygptian rotators. In fact I have one that is three years old and still works like a champ.Just ask the vender some key questions.
Good Luck

I've only smoked a handful of rotaters, and I have the say the best one thus far is a MYA. That thing hit like a champ, and also rotated incredibly smoothly...I'd like to own one for myself someday. The others, smileys right, they usually had a flaw in their turning, or leaked or something. Thats juts my experiance though.

o.O Mya makes a rotator?

I've played around with the idea of getting one of these for smoking in groups, but I've been deterred by what I've heard about air and water leaks...

The one difference I like to point out again and again (even though I don't have the evidential link to back it up) is that smoke from small hookahs contains 4x the amount of carbon monoxide as smoke from large hookahs. There was a study done, but I don't remember where I found the link and have no idea why I didn't bookmark it.
