ApoC
I must find the best possible hose on the planet. Does anyone have any serious recommendations for the highest quality hose around? Preferably washable, as long as bloody possible, and definitely super nice looking and well made. I've yet to find a suitably super hose yet and if I cant find any, im gonna have to make my own. I had the idea that I might build custom ends for a quality washable hose threaded at both ends, then toss a funky cover on it and replace the hose inside whenever I need to. Any good suggestions? NERV
i would reccomend making one, you can get a hose and choose the length and of course itll be washable, then to make it look like make a sleep for it with a lenght of cloth form a crafts shop, make it look even nicer with some tassles or whatever, that would be the best possible way cause all the standard hookah hoses are the metal coil wrapped in plastic, too many cervices, stuff will always build up, but with a smooth plastic hose you can flush it clean every time
ApoC
Hmm yes NERV, although im not sure if those hoses are plastic lined, nobody lists em as washable although Mathazar agrees they are. In that case, does anyone know of a quality washable hose with threads at both ends?
Mathazar
I've got 5 plethor hoses from Hookah-Hookah, I've been washing them, and they work just fine. Infact they're the best hoses I've ever used, I love them
ApoC
I believe they will be the ones I use since theyre 10 bucks a piece there which is AWESOME! not to mention they carry the pyrex bowls too! HOOKAH HOOKAH FREAKIN RULES! gonna be placing a large order there quite soon
Mathazar
Avoid the Cherry, Strawberry, and Menthol All the other flavors can be good if they're fresh. I've been smoking Hazelnut and Pineapple all day long. I'm smoking Hazelnut right now along with a cup of Chai Tea. It's AWESOME!!!

SeekeRofTruth
Anyone like Cobra hoses i ordered two to try ?
NERV
i assume you got the cobra hoses from hookah-shisha, they are good quality, but mine seemed to clog up pretty fast, on the other hand, i do get lazy with the washing so it mightve been my fault, you will eventually need to replace em and when you do i would reccomend a washable hose as they will last longer and probably wont soak in flavors as much
atrombom
the "Tunsi" hoses over at hookahhookah (again!) look to be made of the same washable material as their pleather ones, with nicer decorations like other "sheik" hoses!
NERV
im sure there are plenty of great hoses to buy if you really want the 'ultimate' hose youll just have to make your own hose to you own specifications, i have been tihnking about getting a plastic hose like apoc? has, then buying a new hose with ends i like, putting the ends on the plastic hose and then buying or making a sleeve
MR Bubble
But the question is: are they the same washable type? Those type of hoses were rare a year or so ago. You needed 20-something dollars to get one at thehookah.com (which I did) but a couple months later I found some at hookahook.com for $5 each! I didn't know they were washable and got curios a couple weeks ago. Works like a champ. Now, there are so many hoses that look like these running around the web, I just wonder if they all are washable. I think you can't go wrong with hookahook.com in getting them. $5.00 a pop is great! S&H is a little higher (from Beiruit), but I got 5 at once and came out ahead. Shadi (who runs the place) is great to correspond with. NERV
you would need a way to know if the inside is coiled or not, even with the plastic coating and the coils were stainless steel, if its got coils thing are gonna get stuck, im sure most hoses are 'washable' the hoses at hookahook didnt used to be advertised as washable, now they are, all it needs is SS coil so it wont rust
ApoC
Okay, got my hookah-hookah order (the shishas smell AMAZING), and the "Pleather" hoses are very nice, but the ends don't unscrew!!!! There goes my plan for 10 dollar hose replacements in a super hose... I'll see if I can find some with heads that do unscrew, since im SCREWED if I can't get hoses for cheap (or, at least the idea of cheap replacement on a super hose, that is). The pyrex bowl I got, is awesome, but I'm still waiting for the other stem fitting from hookahcompany to fit egyptian bowls...
