Vancity604 Posted January 28, 2007 Share Posted January 28, 2007 (edited) ok, so i just had a bit of an idea. now that i got thinking about it i am wondering if it would work. if you dont know what inhaling alcohol is then i suggest google. for those of you who do/have alot more knowledge of it that me any input would be awsome. now i was thinking of finding a way to make an attachmentthat would go on top of your vase and stick out the side. it would hold a shot of your favorite hard alcoholic beverage and also have enough room for dry ice (the main ingredient in inhaling alcohol). now the big question is do you think this idea would fly with people?? I'm sure if you could find something to market, you'd really make a hit with the younger generation of smokers. Vancity604 Posted January 28, 2007 Author Share Posted January 28, 2007 (edited) ill work on something to give a rough idea of what im talking about. edit on original idea:under your bowl i am thinking now wouldnt work since the alcohol would probably get filtered through the water. but same basic design cept it would sit on top of your vase and your hookah would sit on top of that. it would protrude out the side. ill work on a lame MS paint drawing right now. Vancity604 Posted January 28, 2007 Author Share Posted January 28, 2007 ok yes i know its very crude but it gets the idea across. the grey smoke is the hookah smoke and the blue smoke is the sublimated alcohol. the hookah smoke would do its normal route through the hookah and the alcohol would be collected as it makes its way back up. They fooled the breathelyzer test, they are not really drunk, and its terrible to inhale that co2you would have to do the opposite. When th CO2 sublimes, some ethanol is pulled through the process so you can breathe it in. Look, if you want some alcohol effects just put a few shots in your base. Not like killing more brain cells matters if you want to use some dry ice. rovelz Posted January 29, 2007 Share Posted January 29, 2007 (edited) inhaling c02 isn't as bad as some of you may think.It's not good for you, but it takes a hell of a lot to suffocate you, and leaves your blood cells/hemoglobin fairly easy... especially compared to carbon monoxide which is really really bad for you, of course it is dry ice... granted, it is solid dry ice, but as long as you're not sucking up the fumes constantly, it'd be pretty tough to suffocate. As for the booze, I wouldn't do it. I wouldn't worry so much about breathing c02 as much as I would ethanol. Granted, I'm not sure as to the potency of this, but inhaling alcohol just doesn't sound very safe. there's no way to regulate how much you take in, and the risk for alcohol poisoning would go way up. Enough of my chemistry/anatomy college student rant.... I'd just stick to a Jack and Coke while smoking my hookah.
