For All You Nyc'ers, Or Those Closeby

So I'm not sure if u NM and SoCal people no how easy it is for you guys to acquire the necessary sustinence for our hookah habit. Out here in the greater New York area its a complete bitch to get shit, but I stumlbed upon a few great stores for us out here in the middle of hookah nowhere.

Right around 9th st and 6th ave theres some great places, I have a nice little map outlined here:


the pink is pretty much the general little neighborhood where all the good smoke shops are, as well as a sex toy shop or two =/ but don't get lost in the pretty lingerie! keep your eyes on the prize people! get that shisha!

The big dot is a place called Village Best, it has no sign, and is a real real small store, but they have some great selection. A great way to identify this place is by their 900 dollar bong in the window labeled "freezable", but do not let your eyes stray to the pretty drug pariphinelia! again, keep your eyes on the goal here people! Village Best carries 3 Kings, and a good selection of Afzal and Nakhla tobacco. They have a good selection of butane lighters as well. Among the hookah's I've properly ID'd there, they have almost all color QT's and some Mya Acrylics too. Other than that, they have a 3 foot wide cabinet dedicated to pyrex bowls (in case you were wondering) and they also have pipes for you old men pipe smokers.

Down the street is a place me and my friends call Couchies. It can be identified by the Nativ American wooden statue which sits outside the door, and in the small window next to the door in big letters it says "CIGARS". In the large display window is a rotating shelving system with a Mya QT on it. In the back is where all the hookahs are, with a table housing at least 50 hookahs, among them again the QT and the Mya Acrylic. They also have some rotators and some classic Egyptians. But be aware, Couchies can get a little pricey for their nice selection ---- their Shisha selection is about the same.

I was just back their today =D got a nice ball bearing hose adaptor for my QT, my friends picked up some charcoals, and I picked up a grinder specifically so I can try smikley's cammomeil tea shisha mix, I don't even smoke that other stuff. pfft.
