Apollo
I love mint shisha, the way it feels like ice water as it goes down. I was wondering which brands offer the best mint quality. Currently i use Al Waha mint because it is super minty and cold, i have tried nakhla and it is gross in my opinion and i have used Romman but do not recall how good it was. So, which brands offer the best mint?
Allia22
My personal opinion is Al Fakher. It isn't too strong and it doesn't burn at all. I need to order some more...

I tried hookah-hookah's spearmint and honestly, it was the most disgusting flavor of shisha I've ever tried... threw away the bowl after 5 minutes.I usually use mint for mixing though. That's just me.
angemonkwj
im gonna dive into the sample of mint that romman sent me tonight and see how it is. i've never smoked mint by itself, always as a mixer, so i hope im not dissapointed
xpimpitox
+1 on the AW mint. not a huge fan of mint but i found this one to be really smooth and cool
Sariél
I have found Al Fahker the best for mixing, but a bit strong on its own (clears out the sinuses with a Bubble Nose Hit , though). Starbuzz spearmint is great on its own if you like Wrigleys gum. Sultan mint tastse like ben gay.
McDarragh
I find mint really hard to use - the flavour is so strong that it makes it a little hard to create a mix where the mint doesnt overpower the others - i usually just put a thin layer on the bottom of the bowl so the smoke just picks up the flavour on the way through - cant say i'd go out of my way to buy it though.only tried the Al Fakher mint by the way. BUT I can't really smoke mint straight up. Too... minty, it almost hurts. Layalina mint makes really think smoke though
SAEPhoenix
I must agree that mint tends to be a rather over powering flavor at times, which is why I have come to use just a slight sprinkling of it in my mixes. I would say it would be no more than 25% of the shisha in a given bowl, and have found that to work wonderfully. I know some people swear by it anyway, but I am surprised by the dislike of nakhla. I love their mint because it isn't as strong as layalina's or other brands. Go with a touch of it, and it gives that wonderful cooling effect to your favorite flavors--- just my thoughts
MN Hookah
I love Fumari Spearmint, great taste, and has that cooling affect that you're talking about, Spearmint Starbuzz is also one of my favorites.

angemonkwj
i've found that i cant smoke mint by itself. i gave the romman a try last night and it started out ok, little smoke, flavor was ok. after about 20 minutes i had to stop smokin it. had a real bad feeling in the back of my throat, almost made me feel like throwing up.
