McDarragh
Has anyone used one of these before - they look pretty damn cool to me but are they worth the extra $$$ and has anyone had any issues with them?Spotted them on the hookah-shisha.com site under hookah accessories - bowls
cafesaden
Are you referring to the Double bowl, or the bowl with the divider in the middle?I have tried both! The double bowl is good for basically two reasons. Show (everyone that night thought it was the neatest thing they had ever seen) and the ability to accurately mix things precisely. The downside of this contraption, it just seems "airy" to me, like smoking with the hose half way in. You have to take harder draws to get the same thickness as well.5/10The divider bowl. cool idea, liked it more and more because of its depth and the divider started to seem more and more useless, it is good for mixing precisely though. Only thing is that it is very weak, dropped it less then half a foot and it shattered everywhere. Ive dropped my funnel from pretty high places and its a trooper.6/
otherkid
Are you talking about the bowl with the metal wind shield attatched to it? I bought one of those with my hookah from Hookah- Shisha. It works really well. The coal burns longer and hotter for a better smoking experience. It was worth the $20.

EvansLight
The Product Review section is for just that, reviews of products, not questions about them. I have moved both your topics into the right forum, the Main Hookah Discussion forum. Please read the rules of each forum to know where to post things. Keep doing it and out come ye old tar and feathers ;-) Enjoy - Ninja Mod Kung Fu Strike!!
Sariél
I use mine all the time now. It works perfectly. If you're not in a hurry, you can get it for $7.95 here:http://www.tobaccoimportusa.com/tobaccosho.../4/prevstart/0/They don't have the best tracking and shiipping notification, but I always get what I order. I bought 2, so if I forget to clean 1, the other is ready. The rest of my bowls just sit on the shelf, now.
cafesaden
i think it is overrated. that damn cover got so annoying when trying to move coals and shake them. plus it gets so hot you have to try and open and close it with the tongs. i just use a regular wind cover that can be had for really cheap pretty much on any hookah online shop. at least those arent burning hot to pick up. but if you have a technique you use with that then go for it. smiley
We have one I mean my bro JT and I. We use it when driveing and Smokeing Hookah. First it is hard to rotate coal because the cover gets so bloody hot. Have to use tongs. Also trying to unclip that sucker while Hot. well lets say LOL. But if you set your coals combo right and Mange the heat they are not bad. We just use less coal. The lid consitrates heat and helps with the simmering. But little over rated. I would rather just use a regular wind cover unless your going to go driveing round or going on a road trip.Smiley

Apollo
i just got a combo bowl today, and i found it works good as far as "evenly distributing heat" if u dont clamp it, i just close it this also keeps the wind down too i would expect but makes it easier to open. i really like the combo bowl
Sariél
If you don't clamp it down, it also makes it easy to rotate the screen with the attached tab.
