Rebel
First post, long time lurker, but here goes. I'm wonder what the differances are in the materials of bowls? Clay, Glass, Stainless (other?), I saw that the stainless ones totes better distribution of heat, and I see some bowls you can put in the freezer, so I'm wondering which direction is best? I was thinking about making a bowl as a lil fun project on a lathe, maybe out of aircraft aluminium or something.
DizzyGuy
Actually... while some people *few and far between* like stainless steal... most people don't like them because they're more prone to burning... I think that a glazed ceremic is supposed to be a pretty good bowl... clay is a pretty common one. I get to try a glass one soon so I'll be about to speak personally on that one... and you *can* put all bowls in the freezer, but I don't think it'd help much, just make heat management harder.Aircraft aluminium bowl would be interesting though
Rebel
if no one else thinks it's a bad idea, maybe I'll build a model in solidworks tonight, I have some idea's on how to make the bowl better itself too.
