cafesaden
okay i searched on this one, but came up with the same general answer like "run lemon juice through your hose"okay that sounds feesable.now any good ideas on how to get the actual lemon juice into the hose? I dont have that real lemon concentrate stuff just real lemons i was planning on squeezing.help please my hose is ruining my flavors I usually just run warm water through it until there is no color or chunks or whatever coming out and that has worked for a long long time. but i think my hose needs a refreshment.I bought 420 solution at the smoke shop and it says kills odors should I try using that instead of lemon? cafesaden
well to tell you the truth I dont know about this hose. I have been washing it for months, before every smoke, and I don't get any kind of particles or rusty taste in my mouth. It just has a charcoal smell/ aroma. The smoke shop I bought it from said that it was washable so I have been washin it ever since (2-3 months at least)Here's a pic of it:

cafesaden
alright cool, that 420 stuff works amazingly, but I would also like to try lemons...anyone know a good way to get the lemon juice into the hose?
McDarragh
squeeze the lemons into a cup and use a funnel
mushrat
to be honest, go spend the 2 bucks on a bottle of concentrate. No pulp to get stuck in your hose etc.If you really gotta use real elmons, do what was suggeested above...squeeze them into a cup, in my case i just take the concentrate into my mouth and force it into the hose that way...a little sour at first but no spillage. Putting lemon through it IMO is kindof overkill, all you need is proper hose cleaning techniques and water. I wouldnt want the lemon cause it might linger in the hose and make it lemony. We have a buttload of threads covering the specific process of hose cleaning. Read through them in their entirety, everyone has preferences, but when your hose is washable pretty much anything goes Edited February 3, 2007 by [LB]
SLF_1452_
i would agree with the idea of just going and buying some concentrate. And as far as the lemon taste getting stuck in the hose, it does. But i just wash it out with hot water about 5-6 times. My advice is dont use lemon juice if you plan on smoking it within a couple of hours, give it time to get out.
