rcusick
Hey guys, I'm new here, and I did a search but couldn't find the answer else where... i got a new hookah as a gift (http://www.hookahkings.com/Small-Hookah-wi...65-p-18933.html) and it is supposed to have a check valve to blow out the smoke if it gets to hot, however it doesn't seem to work.... it looked like there is a piece of metal shoved up in the hole in the vase side that would go to the valve. do i need to some how remove that piece? i know the problem isn't the ball valve or anything since I even removed the top with the ball to investigate the problem... thanks for the help guys! (and hope the answer isn't out there and i just couldn't find it) -Ryan Edited February 5, 2007 by rcusick
mushrat
Not an uncommon problem with traditional hookahs. There will sometimes be some metal slurry from the cutting torch used to cut the pipeing. In my case it blacked one of the holes that fed my 2 hose Egyptian. I ised a nail and just pushed it through. It was just a thin layer of metal as it turns out and all was well.So if the ball etc are there and loose from the outside, and the problem is blockage from the inside, try a nail.
