aleric
Hey Guys! I am new to the forum, but have been smoking shisha for a while. I am looking to expand my collection, and i have read a lot of good feesback about Mya Saray. Are their hookahs really good? and which one should I choose? Any other good hookah makes? Thanks guys, i am sure you probably get this a lot, but hookahs are relatively new in South Africa, so I need some help!
King Mo
they are excellent in my opinion, they unscrew everywhere, and the ones with an acrylic base are really practical for moving about, and there is no risk of them breaking. I get a fantastic smoke out of my one, and is the best I have tried. I bought mine from a shop here, I cannot comment on online orders, but if you get what I've got then it's fine. if you go for the more expensive versions, then they do look nice for showing off, but for practicality, the acrylic ones are fantastic. cypress
Good luck in getting this thing shipped to South Africa. It may cost as much as the hookah is worth to get it down there.
piperdown
I too have considered getting one of their carrying case models, not the crystal (beautiful but too much $$$$), but probably one of the bohemian (Where the hell is "bohemia" anyway? Kinda thinkin' it's a state of mind ) glass units. My bride will probably shoot me if I do. I'd be dead before I had a chance to try it. She got me a 35" 4 hose hookah bros cyclone rotator for christmas, which smokes great. I did replace the "Christopher Lowell" looking hookah bros hoses (or rather the hose covers) with mya saray washable hoses. My wife is going to sew the covers into a chew toy for the dog (140lb great dane)

ApoC
Mya Saray hookahs are the finest made today... Outstanding selection and upgradeability/interchangeability, easy to maintain and clean.
dizzing
hmm, i got a mya saray hookah, and thought it was the best hookah ever made... i also thought that the acrylic base would be sturdy, etc... well, it now has like 3 cracks in it, and i haven't got a clue what from.. i suppose one of my friends or roommates might've dropped it, but regardless, they're not as indestructible as one might think.. still, i assume they're stronger than glass vases (although i've had 3 glass vase hookahs in the past, and only one cracked - it was a very small crack, at that). anyway, i still recommend them.. does anyone know where i can order replacement acrylic screw-on bases? King Mo
man, I have no idea what you done to it. my acrylic base has survived alot. whether it's better than a glass case? well, I can tell you that a glass vase will not survive 1 drop on a hard surface. Not only that, as it's screw-on, you can pick it up via any part, and not worry about the thing droppinhg. It will only crack if you give it a hard smash onto a hard surface. Gamaliel
I think most if not all the acrylic hookahs you buy on different sites are manufactured by Mya Saray.Mine has been holding up very well,it's sold as the Torrent on another site ,but it's still a Mya Saray.I havent dropped it yet but my clutsy girlfriend has on numerous occasions,LOL.However I can see where you could crack it if maybe you added ice to the base without adding water first.Anywho it's a very easy hookah to maintain, the stem is very easy to clean, and it smokes great

hookaman
Hey you guys i have a question. The time has come for me to purchase a new hookah. My choices have come down to 4 hookahs. My choices are the taqseem stargate hookah. Not only does it look nice, i heard from numerous people on the forum that it smokes great. My next choice is the small junior sultan hookah. Even though its small, I heard from some of you guys that its a very good hookah. Packs quite a punch. My next choice would be a Mya saray acrylic hooka. I heard those smoke real well. And my final choice would be a mya saray glass hookah. Im not sure which one to get. I was leaning more towards the taqseem because I hear so many good things on it but does it last long? Im tore between these 4. Please someone give me advice on which one is better. I dont care at all about looks when it comes to these four. Functionality and Reliability is wat matters to me. As long as it hits good.So please any feedback would be appreciated.

ZAP
I have a Mya Saray Bohemian hookah and I love it! And I have to give kudos to MYA for their fab customer service. I lost my ash tray and their online ordering isn't very international friendly so I emailed them and they sent me the tray to the UK absolutely FREE of charge!! They didn't charge for the tray or the shipping! And I didn't even buy the actual hookah directly from them either. I got from a trip to Saudi Arabia and yet they are very very willing to help! 5 star service!
