RuarriP
I think I probably know the answer to his question already, but here goes: Is Elbaz tobacco crap or not? Smoking-hookah.com sells 250 grams for 7.50 USD, cheaper than 11.00 USD for Nakhla. Is it worth a try, or should I stop being such a cheap b*stard? Has anyone tried it? If so, did you want to break your Hookah and kill yourself afterwards? just wondering
tobbsman
From my experience El Baz is not one of the best brands out there. The amount of bad flavors is quite big. El Baz could be a quite good tobacco if the producers would handle the packaging better. Mostly there are holes in the plastic bag and the tobacco is dried out. If one can get a very fresh pack of El Baz it can be a very satisfying experience. I had once a really fresh pack of Capoccino and Bahreni El Sultan (Apple-Strawberry Mix) and it was fantastic !I orderd it a second time and it was totally sh*t because of the packaging...Hope that helps,You should better take some Fakher or Abu Haitham, wich have quality packaging, .... there you can never go wronggreetings, tobbsman

MR Bubble
11.00 USD for Nakhla? Must have shipping to Canada included. I haven't seen El Baz since Egypt. It was my first successful hookah session in rose flavor. The mixed fruit was crap, but I had some cola that was really yummy. I think the mixed fruit was dried out. So, 2 out of three suggests I had better luck than alen and Tobbsman, but it is still unacceptable. Tobbsman, what's up? I haven't heard from you in a long time! RuarriP
Unfortunately, I'm somewhat limited by my location up here in the great white north. Dealing with these websites can be quite tricky, I've seen shipping charges to Canada as high as $65 US!! Most good sites like hookah-shisha.com charge about $25 US, which is still a large percentage of the price of an order. Smoking-hookah can get my gear here for $8 because they ship airmail from Israel. I honestly don't know how this works. Like MR Bubble implied, their prices are probably inflated to adjust for the low shipping rate. But it's still $75 US with shipping for 3 jars of Al-Fakher and a box of coals from hookah-shisha.com. While three jars of Nakhla and a box of coals from smoking-hookah is $57. That's a fairly significant difference. Also, smoking-hookah can deliver to me a lot faster, which is cool. But, I digress...I'll probably break down and order some good stuff in the summer, when I'm back to work. I want to see what all the hype is about. Thanks for the Elbaz info Alen, Tobbsman, I don't think I'll sink that low. I got a dried out batch of shisha from a shop in town....NEVER AGAIN
