Why Wasn't The Phunnel Bowl Invented Earlier?

Recommended Posts

Well I just got my first phunnel bowl and packed a bowl and smoked away and the flavor lasted the whole session .. but thats besides the point .. my question is why wasn't the phunnel bowl invented earlier (pre migration to the US).. its a pretty simple ingenious idea.

i think they were too busy inventing teh wheel..spent too long on that and that 'fire' stuff.. when they could have spent their time inventing something really useful..like the phunnell..

Because there is nothing wrong with the traditional bowls. If it aint broke, dont fix it. The phunnel wasn't even designed for the way its used now, its an "accidental invention".

there is room for improvement in everything, i for one say kudos to tangiers for coming up with this idea..as to wheter it was accidental..i dont know, an di dont care...coz i think its a brilliant invention..
each to their own.. nobody forces anybody to try/buy it..

By all means, of course there is room for improvement in everything. I'm not trying to knock the phunnel in any way, I think its an excellent invention too. I'm just saying, regular bowls dont have anything actually wrong with them, so people werent focused on improving them. The fact that it was invented accidentally as a tobacco bowl doesnt mean anything, you would be surprised at how many things were accidentally created, I just pointed that out because it explains that people aren't exactly set on trying to improve things, but they do anyways smile.gif
