Lakemonster
Got to head up to the DFW area tomorrow and do some grocery shoppin at the International Markets that I frequent. They also sell Hookah... and since I had a good financial week, I reckon I'll pick me up a new one.Unless there is something better than I have seen there before, I will be buying one of the following1. A Syrian rotator for $59or 2. A Syrian case set... simular to a MYA setup, but with a cast stem (Brass) and copper sleeve... I remember this one having a Syrian/Lebanese bowl seat. It would be my first one of that nature. Unsure of priceWhile I am there, I'll pick up a box of coals (3K)... and various tobaccos... Starbuzz.... Layalina and I'll see if I can find any new El Hennawy flavs. Im hopin that one of them has some of the new SS bowls in stock.Hope one of those stores has gotten more of those small inlaid tables......... IF not... Im gonna lay down $40ish biones for an inlaid Backgammon set. (the ultimate traditional hookah game) Looks like this...well f*%k...... who cut off the {img} hotlinking tags? Anyone ever see/try one?Yeah Mushrat recieved one as a gift from his wife, and apparently it didn't hold up too well. If I remember correctly, the tubes used through-out the inside of the table were kinked at all the different points making the suction on the hookah extreamly difficult. Thats the only thing I can remember, but I think there might have been some other problems with it as well.All-in-all, its a great looking hookah and a definite conversation starter, but thats about it. If you want to actually smoke out of it, be prepared to do some tinkering with the insides, and also have a fun time cleaning that sucker out.Your grocery list looks pretty good Lake. Might have to go with 2x boxes of 3kings, depending on how much tobacco you get. I'm horrible... I can NEVER get enough hookah supplies to last me for a week or two. I have some weird fear of running out one day when I really want to smoke, but can't because I either ran out of coals or tobacco... Guess thats why I easily have over 8kilos of tobacco, and 14 kilos of coals...
