lazyguy
Is Hookah-Shisha.com a good place to order hookahs? I've heard from some that there product came in bad condition and there customer service sucks. And i've heard from others that they were satisfied. What do you guys think of hookah-shisha.com
MonkeyBiz
I have mixed feelings on them... Up until I got my order, everything had been going great, but they totally screwed it up. I'll reserve my final judgement until after my issues get resolved. Until then, I'd advise you to look elsewhere.
Stew
Being that you live in the US, shipping won't be too bad. If you're gonna ship anywhere other than the continental US though, they'll bleed you with shipping. It would cost me $25 for shipping alone to Canada. Tariffs, customs, border tax, etc. is another story alltogether; expect to pay another $30.
Mathazar
I had a very satisfactory experience with Hookah-Shisha, except for one thing. The tray that catches the ashes wasn't securely attached to the hookah and the liquid from the shisha would drip down the hookah causing it to tarnish the stem. The stem was made of copper, and it tarnished quite easily. It was a Syrian Glyph 3 hose hookah with the "Auto-Seal System". Other than that, the hookah and the Customer Support was TOP-NOTCH I like Hookah-Shisha because they sell Golden Coals, Romman & Al-Fakher Shisha. On the other hand, their prices are a bit steep. If you want a quality multi-hose hookah with the "Auto-Seal System", go to: www.Hookah-Hookah.com and Customize a hookah. Only make sure while scrolling thru the stems that you purchase a Persian Stem because that is the only stem they sell that comes with "Auto-Seal". The Stem are made of shiny stainless steel and you can get up to a 4 hosed stem. While scrolling thru the Hose selection, only buy the Plethor Hoses, as they are the MOST remarkable hose on the planet. The hoses are made by Mya Saray and they're quite durable and they are washable, which is a BIG plus!!!
ZooJohnnyZETA
My experiances from Hookah Shisha have all been very good. So far I have ordered from them 4 times and every time my order arrived in less than 2 weeks with everything exactly as I had hoped. Two of the orders were hookahs and the other two were 250 gram boxes of Romman Peach. The first of the hookahs was an old brass Syrian model that I got long ago as my first hookah. At the time I loved it but I have since gone on to vastly prefer stainless steel Egyptian models. This hookah was however purchased on sale many many years ago and they no longer carry this model due to the rather low quality of it. The second hookah was ordered just over a year ago. It's a single hose Egyptian Sphinx hookah with a clear base and red cobra hose. The hookah arrived without a scratch on it and the colors were the same ones I ordered. All the freebies they had promised were accounted for as well. Over all I really like Hookah Shisha and despite the negative experiances others have had with them, I would still recommend them highly. But if the issues others have experianced with them is a concern to you, then you can always go to www.thehookah.com and find similar deals on quality products. They also have a larger selection of premium massell to choose from there as well. The only downside of the massell selection is that Romman is a Hookah Shisha exclusive product. Many may remember that several months ago I ordered a Sultan brand Junior Hookah w/ carrying case from them and I have been thrilled with it. At this point I would recommend both Hookah Shisha and The Hookah. Its really a personal preference thing, as I think both should give you what your looking for. NERV
they have good customer service and will try to reslove any problems you have, but the last time i ordered a hookah from them the order was screwed up bad and it tookt he better part of 2 months to resolve it all
cypress
I dont order from them because I have to pay tax and shipping. I also dont order from them because when i bought my frirst hookah they claimed on the web site that it was stainless steel. I also had the impression that the base that they sent me was going to look like the picture on the web site.
Stew
^^^ This is the same message in the "Grrrrrrrrrr" thread. It's either a generic, pre-written post or Sami pulled a quick cut'n'paste.
MonkeyBiz
I'm going to pull a little cut and paste myself, from the Grrrrrrrr thread: "The hookah is perfectly functional, once I got it nice and tight, and honestly looks really nice once there's water in the base. My apologies to Sami, but in the future a little better quality control would be nice. " Take it for what you will.

Stuie
i buy 90% of my stuff from them. If there ever is a problem, they always fix it.But check out the Vendor Section for reviews.http://www.hookahforum.com/?showtopic=6372
liquidglass
I'm with Stuie I usually buy about 95% of my stuff from them (at least) the only thing I don't buy from them is hookahs. However, now that they have KM's in stock that might change. I've had a problem or two before (as to be expected from any company) But they've always been prompt to correct them even if it ended up costing them money. One of my favorite things is that they will call you if they notice something is wrong with your order. Say I ordered tangiers and a particular flavor happens to be out of stock or the shipment doesn't get to them in time. They'll call my cell phone and ask what flavor I'd like to substitute. They'll even make suggestions or read through the whole list.SO my recommendation is: go with HS.com (get a KM)BUT don't forget to check out the other vendors there are plenty of other vendors out there that work hard and do a great job as well. Charley
I use a lot of vendors but I would have to say hs is by far the one I use the most. I have had a few minor problems with them but like the cut and paste said they bent over backwards to fix it for me. I know that if they are online and I have a question they will help me. they are one of my top three vendorsthe other two are hookah company and nazar hookah I have not had the pleasure of ordering from hookah john yet but he will be my next shisha purchase in a couple weeks. mavsfan31
How is their clearance shisha? Is there anything really wrong with it?
Stuie
QUOTE This tobacco is being sold at a Clearance price because its packaging is either damaged, leaky, or otherwise not fit to sell at full retail price. The tobacco inside is the same quality you should normally expect from Tangiers despite minor leaks in plastic packaging. Because the packaging for this tobacco may not be 100% air-tight, we encourage you to smoke your Clearance Tangiers Tobacco within six months of purchase. Usually it simply means the juices leaked out of the packaged. Possibly broke during original shipping.I have ordered a lot of clearance shisha, boxes and bags were a bit messy, but it all smoked fine!

Sonthert
Jeez, look at all the old Mods and low member numbers. NERV and Cypress were mods, Mathazar was a perennial...was he a mod, too? He smoked like 16 bowls a day and a couple of cigars to go with it. That thread was pre-Mushy and Pre-Sonthert.Thanks for the trip down amnesia lane. Tyler
I acidentally hit the last page button instead of the next page button and was reading the threads interested in how things have progressed in the hookah world.
