To100YearsToL8
Use the brush after each use, and wash it as you see necessary.
cypress
If you want tp pull some of the smoke smell away go to walmart or sams and get a big jug of lemon juice and you can use that to clean it every once in a while. Most of the time water will suffice.
NERV
if u give it a quick brush n rinse every few uses you should be pretty set, dont follow my example, i got like a month or 2 without cleaning and then it requires a 2 hour overhaul
HookahCulture
Use the brush and some 409. Seems they got some varieties now, get the ALL-PURPOSE. Spray (not stream) in the top of the stem till it foams, have the bottom of the stem in the sink. You'll see the green foam exit out the bottom. Keep squirting, run the brush through a few times. Rinse. I like to follow with a low concentration spray of lavender Pine-Sol and water. Lavender pine-sol....not an oxymoron, this stuff makes it smell good too. Great for the base as well. Squirt some in, fill half with hot water, shake, drain, rinse. The brush and a few drops of liquid dish soap works well too.
