Problems with a stem

Recommended Posts

I got a persian stem from hookah hookah and in the autoseal system. The holes in the screw on part are too small and it results in a really really tight draw. Has anyone else had this problem and does anyone know a way to fix it... I was thinking of actually taking a hand drill and boring them out to be a little bit bigger.right now they are very small maybe 1/8th and inch and i was thinking of boring them to about twice the size. Anyone had the same problem. Upon close inspection one of them is pretty much the right size but the rest are too small.

Get an RMA Number from them,  have H-H pay for shipping,  and
return that sucker to them for a refund.  I'm sorry this happened
to you,  as I think it was upon my reccommendation that you buy
this stem.  It was just so cool-looking in the photo on their
website.  I would never have imagined that they could screw-up on
the Auto-Seal System.

I guess the only other place to get Auto-Seal is from
Hookah-Shisha,  but those stems are made of copper.
Hell,  I owned one myself and it was a great stem,  except for
the fact that it tarnished so easily.  But I kept it dry so the only
time it really ever tarnished was when the syrup would drip down the
stem.  But,  it was really no big deal,  nothing a
little tarnish cleaner from the hardware store wouldn't fix once or
twice a month,  to keep that baby in MINT condition

I would call Hookah-Hookah immediately and report that problem to them
and demand a refund.  I'm sure they'll offer you one without you
having to demand one.  Aside from their Quality Control
issues,  they're very nice people and, from my experience,
will do just about anything to please the customer

I have not seen their replacement stems on that site. Do I have to call
them up? I have been looking for a brass double or tripple hose
autoseal. The reason I need to go with brass is because there is a lot
of gold on the spare vase that some one gave me and it wont look right
with it being silver.
