Containers

Recommended Posts

So as I am accumulating more and more flavors I am trying to find the perfect container to keep them in. Currently i am using Ziplock bags and i am thinking this is not a very good idea. So what do all of you use to keep your shisha in? And where can i get some better containers. Now mind you i am looking for something that is effective but also not super expensinve i would also like to try and conserve space if possible.

Any help would be great.

Thanks, Zach

I like to use those clear mason type jars, you know the ones with the metal latch that pulls down the top of the jar and uses a rubber seal. Currently I'm keeping my shisha in the fridge until can get a small one for the garage.

I just got some ziploc containers that were ~$2 for 4. They nicely hold 500g of shisha and keep everything pretty neat and airtight, better than bags in my opinion. I think just about any disposable conatiners would be good, gladware, ziploc, etc.

I put mine in airtight jars that I got from southsmoke. Someone said you could get it at dollar tree. I went there and they didnt have any. Besides that you could use gladware containers. They are great too

Good shisha won't even dry out if it's left out in the open, though the flavor will fade.

I use whatever plastic containers I can find at the dollar store.

Sorry, I meant in the refridgerator. The general concensus is that it dries it out, but if kept in an airtight container, it simply won't. I have plenty of experience....and pissed off roommates to prove it.

Oh, well I don't know about the fridge... but that always sounded like a bad, or at least unnecessary, idea to me anyway though. It should stay perfectly fresh without refridgeration...

Thats what i thouught becuase i figured if you had some real wet/sticky stuff then the cold would dry that up???

+1 All I like to get is some ziploc/tupperware, and store in a cool, dry, place.
