Brendank
Hey guys, What the deal with ultra-light el-basha(white boxes). I was thinking about ordering some because of its relative cheapness to the non-ultra-light. But how is it ultra light, has anyone ever smoked it? if Anyone can review this for me I'd think that was mighty swell, Gee wizz.
MR Bubble
Brendank, I smoke El Basha sometimes. The concept of it is to have a lighter flavor than the full-blown Nakhla (which tends to be over-powering (but in a good way). I have El Basha Jasmine, which is a real floral flavor, and El Basha grape, which is off the mark somewhat on grape flavor, but you know you are smoking grape flavor massel. The problem with the grape is it seems to have an ever-so-slight floral tint to it also. Is the floral taste common to all El Basha? Beats me. I don't know, but it is possible since regular Nakhla flavors have a bit of liccorice taste to pump up the flavor's strength. Maybe the El Bash line has a common floral taste to mellow out the flavor. You know what is really fun? Especially fun with Nakhla? Just buy the stuff and see what happens. You may get a mouth full of barf or a mouth full of goodness. You just never know! Let us know what you get and review it for us. Oh, don't forget the nose-hits! Mathazar
I'm smoking El-Basha Grape right now, out of neccessity, because the soonest I'll be able to get some fine Hookah-Hookah & Al-Fakher ma'assel is on Wednesday. So, even though I'm smoking this stuff because it and the Nakhla Lemon & El-Basha Ultra-Light Licorice is all I can get at the moment, I'd have to say that the Grape isn't all that bad. Would I want to smoke this stuff all day long? HELL NO!!! It's not THAT great, but it is smokeable and it does taste a little like grape with those floral undertones MR Bubble was talking about. It doesn't at all make the Grape a bad flavor, but if you're trying to save money, the Ultra-Light Grape and Licorice are pretty good choices. Otoh, if you don't care about a couple extra bucks, then go for the Nakhla Lemon & Double Apple. Damn Good Flavors!!!
NERV
nakhla and el basha are pretty different flavors even tho they are same company, if youve tried a nakhla flavor dont expect el basha to taste the same, i ove the el basha banana but dont care for the nakhla, or was it the other way aorund? anyway, dont assume thatel basha and nakhla tase the same, try both and see which flavors you like best
Mathazar
Gee, NERV, I'd really like to know which Banana flavor you were referring to, because I've been wanting to find a good Banana flavor to add to my daily rotation.
