mushrat
I watched how the new hookah cafe here set theirs up, had a tube of foil like a chimnney or wind screen around the bowl. Hookahcultures's site shows some pictures from hookah bars and you can see it done in some of them. I've set it all up and dropped the coal into it with the tongs...no fires so far..:-) Oh, to see his hookah use item #3965209081 in search. wyteboy
just finished "bagging" the nakhla vanilla and strawberry... is it normal to have a TON of little mini stems? maybe 2-3 mm in length, but clearly stems and not tobacco leaves? or is this what I get for paying for nakhla? should I be picking out ALL of those stems when packing my bowl or does it not matter that much?
cypress
Its typical with that brand. Just leave them in and and when u fill the bowl just take them out at that time.
wyteboy
Thanks cypress....onto putting the alwaha in bags and it is still stemmy sort of but less than the nahkla. Are the "better" brands of romman or fakher much less stemmy?
cypress
Romman and Fakher have alot less than Nakhla. The cuts are finer. Click on my reviews on my sig and you can see what Hookah Hookah and Fakher look like. I dont have a pic of Romman but guess its time for me to do some reviews on Romman in the near future. wyteboy
not sure how to click on your sig....? Maybe it's my computer? Do you mean the United States of America link? Let me know. Off to sleep, work in the morning. EIther buying nour coals from ebay (with shipping, a box is $17...is that WAY WAY too much to pay?) or from a store if I can find one around here. I can't use online stores right now due to personal CC issues lol, so it is ebay or an in-person store from me. Is it absurd to pay $8.99 + $8 s/h on ebay for the box of coals? Is it worth the cost if my only other coals are 3 kings? Thanks guys!
cypress
Click where it says "Got Reviews" Its in the area right of the American Flag
wyteboy
I don't see "got reviews" anywhere near the pic of the american flag? (now I feel really dumb, lol) cypress, what you think of the cost of those nour coals on ebay? worth it?
cypress
http://hookahforum.com/forum/forum_posts.a...asp?TID=788&PN= 1 17 bucks for Nours is high. I guess for now try the 3 Kings. You are looking in the wrong area for Gor Reviews. The signature is right below what ever i write. The first part says "Lets fire it up" Right below that is Got reviews? The link provided will do.
wyteboy
hmmm maybe I have something set up weird with my account since I do not see your signature ever or anyone's for that matter.... Thanks for the price check...it seemed high to me, but on the other hand I was thinking if the 3 kings ruins a smoke like some say it does, maybe I'd be better off buying the nours anyway. For now I will stick with the 3 kings I guess......thanks!!

wyteboy
If I can't find nour coals cheaper around me, what do people think of these? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...Item&item=53746 66735&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1 hope that link works...just trying to learn what to use and what not to use and everyone on here says 3 kings sucks which is the only thing I have...looking for an alternative such as the nour or lemon wood but also need a reasonable price (job doesn't pay TOO well just yet haha) Have a good Tuesday everyone! cypress
The are Japanese style coals. They do not light as quick as Golden. I have never used that brand before so i can not comment. The Japanese coals I have tried I didnt like but it does not mean that these arent good. Good luck.
