cypress
cypress besides the AF cola, what are your fave flavors from each of those brands?
I havent tried all the flavors yet but my goal is to try them. Lets see, I have plum, grape, coconut, cherry and cola. My faves out of those 5 are cola and cherry. Cheery tastes like grenadine. Coconut is a good mixer but you cant use equal proportions as it is a stronger flavor than some others. Also, I had to take up my carpet and replace it with tile. That was not the only reason why i did that. My carpet was taking quite a bit of wear from the traffic. The sad part is its was not even 3 years old and I paid extra for that carpet for my new house. It was burber. The only thing i have to worry about now is tipping the hookah and getting the coal on the couch. Back in my fraternity days we use to have bon fires at our house. Well let me tell you that a couch will flare up faster than you will ever think. Once we had the fire dept show up because we had 20-30 foot flames with a couple of couches. The best solution for this is get one of those flat metal things that are supposed to catch oil drippings from your car. All it is a sheet metal that is folded over with a lip on the edges. That would be the safest thing if you are worried about your carpet. It may not look fancy but what is worse that or a burned carpet. Another alternative is get one of those water heater pans. It looks like a toppless box made of metal.

Some people dont like that buttery type taste though. Ready my review on it. Look for the subject "The cypress reviews." I went to school at the University of Houston and I am a TKE alum. Mathazar
My father graduated from the University of Houston with high honors in Law. He had an AWESOME time at that school. Of course, that was many many years ago, but he still talks about it from time-to-time
wyteboy
Hey CYpress thanks for the tip!! you are really right, a metal sheet with lipped sides would REALLY prevent my coal from hitting the carpet. great recommendation, I'll go return the rubber mat I stupidly bought from home depot lol!! I'll just ask for an oil draining pan or something? Also thanks for the thread topic, I will definitely check out the Cypress reviews thread! King Mo
hmm, just read your thread. here's some royal recommendations. You want flavour, so these will hit you strong. Will keep it simple. These are flavours I feel do not get boring or sickening if overdone. Fakher- Apple, Grape, Coconut Golden Fakher - Strawbery Romman - lemon Fumari- watermelon Amir - Cherry if you buy those, you will have a beautiful variety of flavours, and in my opinion are a perfect start. (notice how every flavour is different) reviews of most can be found in my signature (will add another review in a short while so it will probably be bumped up) enjoy

HookahCulture
There's a hookah restaurant here that uses 3-inch deep x 12 inches aross CAKE PANS for hookah coal trays to catch all the falling coals from the drunken students flailing about. Al Waha is totally different from Nakhla, you really can't compare. They're totally different styles. The Al Waha peach tastes like cardboard. If you're gonna smoke it, mix some really GOOEY chunks in with other flavors. The Al Fakher has the Golden Seal selection of flavors, grape, strawberry, and apple, those are really great, everyone knows I talk up the Eskandrani Apple. The regular flavors have their goods and bads. The Fumari Guava is PERFECT! Not as sweet as the juice but the flavor is definitely there in layers. Mix some of that with the AFGS Eskandrani and you've got the BEST MIX I'VE EVER HAD. Do a search for my review on the guava. Some people really like the Nakhla and are faithful to the brand, but there are certainly many other brands and flavors to explore. Think of Nakhla as an Indian Head Penny. Necessary for every coin collection experience, abundant, classic, unchanged. You can start your own avalanche of coin metaphors for all the different brands, which could be entertaining, but I thought we were gonna do the numeric percentage ranking. The Eskandrani Apple would be the Morgan Dollar or Peace Dollar. Ir at least a Walking Liberty half dollar...... Necessary, much loved, glistens, expensive, classic and authentic, valuable. Brendank
Hey in response to the carpet thing.... Use some foil over the top of your coals.. actually make a chamber for the coals ontop of your bowl and poke holes in it. Make sure the shiny side is facing in. It should resemble a large silver ball ontop of your hookah!! Also I find that when I'm doing this 1. there is a huge amount of heat retained, Really good smoke. 2. If your hookah falls over then the most damage youll cause is a wet patch from the base 3. When Using this method I usually only have to use 1 kwick light coal for a whole smoking session. Honestly guys this is the most genius idea ever, I have been doing it for years. Use less coal and save your carpet and get the perfect smoke!! HAppy DAys
