WHat’s the deal with Sultan and Splash?

I just came across Sultan and Splash tobaaco at tobaccoimportusa.com....they are not brands i've seen before but seem to have a wide varity of flabours and are fairly well priced? Does anyone have any experience with these brands and whetehr they're worth trying or what flavours of theirs are worth trying?

Yes, in the past I've ordered Sultan:  Abu Samra,  Egyptian
Pharoahs,  and Tuti Fruiti,  and they were all completely
flavorless.  Some people have claimed that they liked the Abu
Samra and could taste the fruit flavor mixture,  but not me. 
Egyptian Pharoahs is a mixture of nuts,  and upon smelling it you
think it's going to be a real buttery/nutty flavored smoke.  Not
so.

Stay away from Sultan,  it's overpriced CRAP 

And a lot of people have said that Splash makes them feel sick, 
and that the flavors really SUCK,  and that the tobacco is
literally FLOATING in syrup.  I haven't tried Splash,  so I
can't personally comment on it.

I think Mathazar has some really good points there.

  Ive ordered Sultan once before and I still have some sitting
around here. The two I tried were the Tutti Fruitti and Peach flavors.

 I found that they were VERY weak in flavor, almost flavorless.
The tobacco was a really funky and giant sized cut with tiny yellow
stems floating around in the dark brown molassas the mix was soaking in.

  They both smelled really strange too, almost like a urinal cake.
Fortunately that smell didnt carry over into the flavor of the smoke.
As I said before though, the flavor was about the lightest flavor I
have ever experianced.

 The one good thing about Sultan however is the buzz. It is very
very intense, and the feeling is vaguely similar to the Nakhla Cherry I
just reviewed in another thread. 

So thats Sultan in a nutshell really... looks bad, smells bad, has no
taste, and will twist your brain into a pretzel when you smoke it.







As far as Splash goes... I ordered a jar of Splash Lemon Lime flavor
once. It is made by the same company as Sultan and looks very similar
in the cut and apperance.
The flavor of the lemon lime was realistic and nice, but
that was the only thing nice about this massell! When the massell
cooked it put off a smell very akin to burnt toast. It made the whole
room (including the bowl and hose) smell like burnt toast and it took
days to get the smell and taste out of my hookah.

But it gets much worse... after about 10 minutes of smoking I started
feeling horribly sick.  I didn't throw up, but I know that if I
would have smoked for another minute or so I would have. I started
getting really nasty cold sweats to go with my upsidedown stomach so I
put down the hose and let the rest of the bowl burn out on it's own.

After that disaster of a smoke I threw out the Splash and cursed the day I ordered it








But I can say one VERY good thing about the site you found these
products on. The hookahs on Tobacco Import USA are some of the best
hookahs I have ever smoked.

 I have one of their Junior hookahs that I smoke about every other
day and I really love it. I find that the flavor of my massell just
seems stronger when smoked with one of Tobacco Import USA's hookahs.


  So if any of the hookahs there intrest you I suggest you order
one. Theyre really great and durable peices of smoking equipment at a
price thats hard to beat.

Sultan brand hookahs are CHINESE.

I hear they smoke well but I think they're UGLY. 

"What if the Chinese made something really nice and of quality, would you buy it?"

I'd have to see what that is, it would sure have to impress the hell outta me.
Hoses would have to be the Jordanian washables though.
Chinese hoses are ugly too.
