Should I Return This Hookah For A Different One?

Recommended Posts

i think $94 for all that is a good deal, but you have only had that one for one week so maybe do some more experimenting and u might get it..i dont think they would charge that much for a hookah that doesnt smoke very well.

yes, there is such a thing as "too advanced hookah" for some users, but im sure you can find some tips and tricks here that will help you with about any set-up. as for returning, probably not after use since there would be no way for the retailer to ensure it was used for the correct substance. do not purchase smoking-hookah's packages. the hookahs blow majorly. realllly cheaply made. im sure that 3 hose will work just gotta keep trying new things

There is no reason why you shouldn't get a GREAT smoke out of the hookah you own. Hookahs are very, very uncomplicated machines. Even crappy hookahs (like the Pumpkin everyone freaks out about) can be made to smoke well. No offense, but 99% of the time it's operator error. And I mean no offense, because I've been where you are bud. Keep trying and I'm sure you will get some good results eventually.

What problems are you having? Have you checked to make sure all the ball bearings are there? How about a general check for an air leak?

More tobacco. Dump the screen, and go with foil. And those Diamante quicklights... Their finger coals are good, but I've heard those quicklights SUCK. Also, you mention that your flavor is dull. Please realize that smoking a hookah does not have the same flavor experience as, say, eating a Starburst. Your expectations may be too high. Those lovely pictures of ripe red fruit on the boxes of the tobacco are not really representative of the quantity of fruity (or other) taste you will get. Some tobacco brands have a more pronounced flavor to them, but most of the time it can be quite subtle, and it's never a super fruity candy taste like some people expect. Maybe you are doing everything right, and just don't really like hookah as much as you thought you might... Just a thought.

Perhaps... When i smoked hookah with my friends in the summer however, it tasted better and seemed more enjoyable. You say the quickcoal sucks, how do natural coals work?

All hookah and hookah related things are always better in good company.. but pack that bowl better... and the screen is fine but foil is good too. its preference and i use the diamente quick lites as well... break it into 3 peices.. spread em on the edges of the bowl. put a little milk or juice in the water. and dont expect wonders right away. let it heat up for 1 - 2 min then do fast puffs to get it smoldering then go to town on it. but one coal deal on like that dosnt work. keep up the effort! post more pics... the more pics you post in action the more we can help you

I didn't mean all quicklights, just those Diamante ones you've got there. Try Three Kings brand or maybe Goldens. They are excellent quicklights.

as everyone else said, add more shisha to the bowl, make sure your water lvl isnt too high, that can make smokeing difficult. what brand of tobbaco do you have? because your friend might have had a different brand that tasted better if you are compairing 2 of the same flavours.
