rez
i started out with naklah and moved on to Al Fakher (which i really enjoy, except for the grape), im looking to try another brand as well.i enjoy alot of flavor and thick smoke over getting a buzz. so how would you rate those three brands? [LB]
if your gonna buy a sample pack, go for it. Its best you find out on your own, alot of the times how 'good' a tobacco is , is just based on preference. Personally those three brands are my favorite, plus they are relatively fair when it comes to price. Just try a sample, you wont be disappointed. cymptom
In my experience, AF has been wetter than Layalina. I'd rank them:1. AF2. Layalina3.4.5.6.7.8.9.10. Al Amir (to reiterate what Sean indicated... )
Zerodynamic
Al Amir isn't all THAT bad... then again, I get it for a really good price.Layalina is top notch stuff. I couldn't live without AF.
oriteku
Layalina is prolly my favorite brand for most flavors though AF seems to be right on the money as well as far as my tastebuds preferencesThey are very comparable to each other in a smokeability, wetness and thickness of smoke and such
web250
From those three:Layalina > AF >>>>> AAI think AA is overrated, AF lacks flavor selection. Layalina smokes like a champ (it's very moist, full of glycerin) and has really good flavors (esp their berrys and guava).
hooka_jack
dont know about you but naklah will allways be the best... it has a lot of flavours and it's not watery like all the rest it is fairly moist and fairly thik!... double apple is one of the best flavour there is... Johnny_D
I quite like Al amir... Cherry is nice Layalina is fantastic though. I have yet to find a flavour that disappoints.Al Fakhir seems to be hit & miss. But it's hard to find 'fresh' supplies in the uk. Everything i have brough (with the exemption of some 50g samples from hookahshop) have been old and way to dry.JD
mushrat
Af and AA are washed. so less buzz.Layalina is unwashed. More buzz.I actually like certain flavours of al amir quite a lot. Their Blackberry is top notch, their peach is quite tasty, their poemegrante is not quite pomegranet, but I like it anyway. Their 3 apple is quite excellent. I like it because i get no hint of a buzz from it.Laylina is also very good. Good standard flavours that taste like they are supposed to. But i sometimes get a bigger buzz than I'm looking for. What company were you planning on ordering from?

Jones
Layalina is the only brand of non-premium I smoke and for a reason, I bought a sampler pack and every flavor without exception was great. The vanilla, literally soaked through 2 BAGS! And as has been mentioned earlier, their berry flavors are usually very tasty, and unlike some brands there is an actual difference between berries. Also, with a nice Layalina sampler pack, it's a mixer's heaven.
mushrat
Really? I found the layalina blackberry and raspberry to be very similar.....Just goes to show, asking what flavours you should get is about as useless as teats on a bull..we ALL have different Ideas of what is good. Minor point, but compared to say some Nakhla berries, there was a difference. But very agreed on personal preference. Sampler pack as many brands as you can and find what you like (JUST DON'T DO AL-AMIR).

Rogue
I find that i get a rather big buzz from Layalina. i've only tried peach and it was tastey. we had oj in the water as well and that was nice. I think we also tried al amir caramel apple and that wasn't too bad. i'm new, so i haven't tried that many different flavors. just ordered a sample pack this weekend

I have al amir cherry and cola as well, they are pretty damn good when mixed together! I have a bunch of different al amirs, none of them were bad at all, only the sour apple didnt really satisfy me. cymptom
Yeah I've tried AA Mint, Pomegranate, Banana Split and Caramel Apple -- they all kinda taste the same and have a sort of generic sweetness. Even the mint.
