I Love Hookah Company!

Recommended Posts

So my order from Hookah Co. arrived just now. Yes, I was at my doorstep eagerly awaiting my order.

I got:

250g Tangiers F-Line Kashmir
250g Af Esk. Apple
250g Al-waha Orange Cream
50g AW Mint
50g AW After Nine
50g AA Pina Colada (it was a freebie)
1 Small Blue Phunnel

I have to say the Tangiers smells... odd. Its kinda hard to explain.. but I'm not sure if I wanna smoke the Tangiers straight... I think I'll start mixing here pretty soon.

So, on to the AW Orange Cream. As we alllll know, for $9, this stuff is a bargain. I have yet to find someone that doesn't like this flavor. Anyway, when I opened the tub up, it was wet under the lid, along the threads, and on the bottom. I mean really wet, like 2 grams of molasses was dripping from the bag when I got it. The red molasses bag just plain sucks. So I put all the tobacco in the tub, and kinda scooped it all into a ziploc bag. I did this so the tobacco was soak up the excess molasses in the tub. By the time I was done, there wasn't any left. Then I took the molsses bag and and the plastic flim and I rung it out to get every last drop out.

In a nutshell, it just wish the AW package was better so I wouldn't have of did that whole process. Now tangiers was very nicely packaged, and I was able to transfer all the juices very easily. Some goes with the AF, but it was a little drier than some of the other AF I have gotten in the past.

hey at least you're only complaining about packaging. I've weighed all my 250 tubs and the closest one I had was 230g. The worst was 200. note it's with the shisha and plastic wrap out and balance tared with just the tub. usually there isn't much juice inside, and i've even used a clean tub to do the taring and then put the juiced one on

Sounds like a pretty tasty order. The kashmir does smell a bit strange if you're used to kashmir peach and have never smelled the kashmir on its own. With acclimation the smell/flavor will change a bit. When I first open it, it's usually really incense-ish, kinda similar to nag champa. But you're right -- this stuff is mostly for mixing. I've yet to try it on its own, and don't really have much desire to. MIX IT WITH THE AF ESK APPLE -- that's one of my favorites. Do 1/5 or 1/4 kashmir, the rest apple. Aw man I wish I had some of that right now...

im not gunna complain over even 50 grams when i dont spend more then 7 bucks for a huge ammount of shisha. and yes....

i HATE HATE HATE Al-waha wrapping, rewrapping, sealed wrapping, wrapped again, and then wrapped once more in sticky celophane JUST for your sticky finger pleasure.

ok guys, heres an update:

Last night me and a couple buddies smoked the Esk Apple and the F-Line together, per cymptom's recommendation. Instead of doing 1/4 or 1/5 of the bowl f-line, I did more like 1/3.

Wow, was that stuff tasty. Its kinda hard to explain, it was like I was tasting spicy perfume or something. Its not bad, but I would of hoped the exclusive Kashmir flavor was more to my taste. The Kashmir was definately to dominant flavor here.

So fast forward to this morning.... I pack a phunnel full of the F-Line. All I have to say is wow! The flavor was like 5x stronger than the mix. I found that it smoked easily, and I could have nice big puffy clouds in 20 seconds.

So, I'll answer what you all are wondering. One, I haven't died because of a nicotine/caffiene overload. Two, I wasn't bouncing off the wall, it just gave me a killlller buzz. Three, I smoked it straight for about and hour and I got bored with it, but in the beginning, the flavor was just overpowering. It took some getting used to.

This stuff was tottaly worth it, I think next time I'mma have to get me some apple f-line!

Ahh yes, I love that mix. If you're gonna do 1/3 or 1/4 kashmir, it can be better to put all the kashmir on the bottom and the apple on top. That has worked out deliciously for me in the past...

Yeah man, it was like all I could taste is the kashmir. I was kinda bummed, but I am assuming that the esk apple is really a flavor that should be enjoyed alone first.

Tonight I am thinking a little after nine or some orange cream.... yummy! wink.gif

Oh well that's no good... yeah, try it alone first, then try it mixed with a little bit of kashmir. Kashmir is strong stuff -- well I guess you know that by now, but yea... use it sparingly. 1/3 Kashmir is a lot, especially for a mild flavor like Esk Apple.

I'm thinking that I will have to find a flavor that is as equally powerful. I think I might have to mix it with another F-Line, or maybe some SB... who knows.

Really, I just want to smoke a lot of the F-Line so I can be bouncing around... or help me stay up when I am trying to crank out a paper. (yes pun intended!) laugh.gif

I mix it with SB too -- it goes well with Marlette and Peach. I like mixing it with washed tobaccos for a very well balanced smoke. AF Esk Apple is so satisfying when it has that Kashmir weight to it wub.gif

Anyway, you don't necessarily have to find a flavor that is just as powerful, you just need less Kashmir in the bowl. Unless you're looking for a super strong smoke laugh.gif ... but I don't really know of any flavor as strong as kashmir that would mix well with it.

Yeah, I am thinking a marlette mix would be good. I can't wait to smoke the esk appple by itself tonight... that stuff just smells soooooooooo tasty.

As for a super strong smoke... I'm thinking of picking up some Red Tea F-line along with the Apple... I just wish there was more F-Line to choose from!
