Al-waha...romman?

Recommended Posts

This evening, I opened my tub of Al-Waha Two Apple in anticipation of tomorrows smoke fest after dinner. The After Nine I tore into last week actually had me writing a review after bowl 2, it was so good.

First thing i notice is the smell. It smells exactly like Romman's Dbl. Apple! The cut is the same, the color is the same.
A quick look at the ingredients and I notice that this is cured with honey, just like....you guessed it! Guess where its manufactured...Jordan...just like Romman!

Now, before you folks start smashing up Al-Waha and Romman's Dbl. Apple, remember taste is subjective. I for one am a fan of Romman's Dbl. Apple (heavy on the anisette) so I am kind of happy that Al-Waha is so familiar at its price.

Double Apple ratings for me are AF, Naklha and Romman...AW may take over spot #3 on economics alone. Nothing beats the uber juicy, round deliciousness of AF though.

Am I the only one to have noticed this familiarity between AW and Romman? The smoking will be the ultimate comparo.

I've only tried romman grape so far and found it strikingly similar to al waha grape as well. from both the liquidity to the odor to the taste and general quality of smoke. Don't get me wrong, I love al waha more than any other brand, but grape falls a little weak in my opinion. The flavor is too clean and weak. El basha grape, I've had a box of extremely good grape. Never again though. Such a shame... everytime I order I still pick up some el basha grape and hope to get a good box again
